Vitamix 5200 Blender Giveaway (Closed – See winner below): The Details
Someone’s getting a new $449.00 Value 2HP Vitamix 5200 blender for Christmas, ready to make Green Smoothies for many years to come! Here’s what we’ve got in this FREE giveaway for you:
In case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep.
Having a high power professional Vitamix 5200 blender is definitely some good motivation to start making change. Combine that with the delicious recipes in my Green Smoothies for Dummies book and you are going to start the new year right!

I will drink more water
I am defiantly going to try to live a raw plant based lifestyle, ~
I would like to start getting more sleep and taking charge of my diet. Its a challenge as a college student.
One healthy change I will make is eating more berries. I love fruit, but tend to neglect these because they are more expensive. They provide more nutrition and more antioxidants. I need to incorporate more of them into my life!
Introducing more raw food into my diet! (Which this blender would be amazing for!)
I would use my vitamix every day!
I want to eat more fresh, whole foods and less processed ones!
I will come up with new smoothie ideas~
I’m going to cut out soda.
for 2015, i would love to make green smoothies more regularly. i often just have fruit smoothies, and it’s great to mix it up with vegetables too.
The one thing that I plan to do healthy for the New Year is eat more natural foods and less red meat.
For the next year, I would like to incorporate more green smoothies in my life. That is why I’m looking to buy vitamix. My blender is not that great, so I can’t decide between Vitamix and Ninja
Yum! Green smoothies are my favorite. Great goals that you have set for yourself! I have always wanted to try yoga. I am going to cut soda out of my diet completely, I know its a process but it is so very important. They are horrible for you and I will succeed with my goals! 🙂
I intend to restore health to my family and encourage exercise in this upcoming year. It’s a challenge to get 12 people on the same mindset!
I will cut out carbs/breads.
Do squats everyday
I will drink more water, cut on bread and rice and exercise regularly.
Sorry, I answered more than one thing :-/
My official answer: Drink more water!
Hi Myriam,
All your goals are awesome….and to drink more water is so important – that’s something everyone should add to their list. Well done, and good luck!!
Jennifer
Eat out less. I’ve been so busy these past few months that our take-out consumption has skyrocketed.
Hello, for the upcoming new year I wish to cut out eating meat. I want to focus on losing weight and becoming healthy and I feel this would be a good start.
Going to join a group sport like rowing or soccer.
Ring in the New Year with a positive attitude, the rest – healthy lifestyle, eating balanced and stress-free living, all fall into place once a positive foundation is built! This Vitamix is a dream come true! Smoothies and detox for life 🙂
I’ve already started to eat a more plant-based diet, but I want to kick it up a notch and add more plants and less junk!
One healthy change I am going to make for the new year is to start practising yoga and meditation every day! Also, I am going to try harder to make a proper sleep schedule for myself, and not stay up so late. I am also going to try to eat more leafy greens and more raw food, and this blender would help me with that so much 🙂
Have at least one fully raw meal a day!
More workout time!
I wil cut down on the carbs, and curb the binge eating!
Will take more time to take care of my health instead of picking the easy meal to make I will think more about the healthy choice over the fastest
Work out more and eat healthier.
I am going to be more active through the day.
Trying to have at least one meatless/vegan meal a week. Give ourselves a break from having to digest all that food that we shouldn’t be eating regularly.
I’m making a commitment to once and for all to stop drinking soda. I want to introduce more smoothies and green juices into my diet.
I would want to start a daily yoga routine.
I will eat more veggies!
I want to try to have a better sleeping schedule so that I can be more rested and workout more and make sure I always have breakfast.
In 2015 I want ot focus on non processed & raw foods!
I don’t have a blender and I’ve many things to do in my list if I own a blender to live a happy and healthy life. Making juices, pestos, batters etc.. are on my list..
The ONE healthy thing I am going to do in the new year 2015 is to really focus on eating a more healthy raw diet and try some healthy smoothies. I’ve been looking at the Vitamix blender for a couple years now but haven’t been able to get one. Hope I win!
Making sure to eat more healthy meals throughout the day
I would like info on supplements for nursing moms.
One healthy habit I want to make this coming year is to add exercise and healthy eating.
more juicing
I’m going to cut way back on my soda intake.
I want to cut out the soda.
I will drink a glass of water at 3pm each day. As it is now–I always forget to rehydrate!
Definitely more exercise, nothing strenuous; I’m realistic. I want to do something that I know I will be able to maintain.
I will have a green smoothie everyday (hopefully blended with a new Vitamix), will give myself at least 10 minutes to meditate everyday, and will further my yoga practice from once a week to at least twice a week. Jennifer, your twitter and website have been such an awesome foundation for my journey. I’ve learned so much about balanced, holistic health practices and I’m excited to continue to learn and improve my health and well-being in the new year!
Starting on Black Friday I am getting grain out of my diet. 2015 brings a year of clean eating to my household.
For the new year I am going to try Jennifer’s liver flush! Also, continue 2014’s work on my balanced health: spiritual, physical, mental, emotional.
Hi Tim,
The Liver Flush rocks (no pun intended!) Here is the recipe: https://healthybliss.net/gallstone-liver-flush-recipe-cleanse-info/
Or, you can stay with the more gentle Green Smoothie version above!
Blessings,
Jennifer
How can I tell you what I want! i have suggestions but not sure how to complete the task or get my opinion to you.
I will completely eliminate all refined carbs and canned or packaged good–for good.
Jennifer-
