This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!

Imagine starting the New Year with a Vitamix Blender…for FREE! Thanks to the generous folks at Vitamix, I have one FREE Vitamix Blender to giveaway this holiday season! This blog post will tell you everything you need to know about the FREE Vitamix giveaway, so keep reading and be sure to add your comment below! In addition, I’m also offering a FREE online Iridology Analysis and a FREE Green Smoothie DVD and eKit to the lucky winner. This is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to all of my loyal Twitter followers, clients and Facebook friends. If we are willing to offer you the chance of a clean, fresh start to your health and well-being for 2013, you better believe that we believe in what we do and we believe in you too!

Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

The ‘BMW’ of blender motors!

Now you know that the Vitamix is a blender. But I didn’t mention that it is the BMW of blenders. Well, it better be…for a price of $449.00 USD!! It’s the dream blender of every raw foodist and health enthusiast I know, including me! The reason why the Vitamix Blender is considered the best blender on the market is because it has an excellent motor, it’s extremely well made and it’s guaranteed for 7 years. You can blend anything in this blender thanks to that motor, even an avocado seed, it’s true! This is a blender that lasts for life; that’s why people pay a lot for it, because it’s really a long-term investment in your health. I am really excited to have the chance to give this away because I’ve seen the change that my clients have made, and I know that good food is the key.

An Online Iridology Analysis ($99.95 value): What it can do for you

Iridology is the science of the iris, or colored portion, of the eye. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the brain and central nervous system through the optic nerve. The optic nerve connects to the central nervous system (CNS) which is the main communication link to everything that goes on in the body.

Jennifer Offers Iridology via Skype, Phone or Email

Jennifer Thompson is a Certified Comprehensive Iridologist (CCI) and offers a complete Iridology Analysis via Skype, email or phone. After taking your iris photos with a digital camera or iPhone, you will email the photos to Jennifer and arrange a time and day to discuss the results. During the reading, Jennifer gives you a good, clear understanding of where your body is at in terms of strengths, weakness, imbalance and any areas of toxicity or inflammation. She makes recommendations for improvement that may involve doing some form of a detox (colon cleanse, heavy metal detox, kidney cleanse, skin cleanse, etc) and a change in diet that may include adding certain foods to your diet and reducing/minimizing others.

  • The skype call is 1-hour in length and is recorded. The video file is sent to you by email after the call.

I love being almost 100% raw (around 70% currently.) Being 25 I feel so much more positive about my life and body and use to be a highly insecure young person who ate mainly cooked foods. I would go through major ups and downs in my mood and my weight when I ate cooked foods. Now being more raw has made me feel more stablized and more in control of my body and moods! Its as though I can feel the raw fruits and vegetables give me a whole sort of energy that I never had from cooked foods. I can only say to people who have not tried being raw to do so, it truly can change your life and in a postive way too!

One positive change I made regarding diet this year, was adding healthy fats back into my diet and not fearing fat. I did some major metabolic damage through physique competitions and realized that what I was doing was NOT healthy. I started adding a tbsp of coconut oil every morning, eating whole organic eggs and taking krill oil and eating lots of avocados and its helped my skin and just my overall health and mental function.

After moving to West Virginia for college in 2008 my diet and health really suffered. WV is one of the top unhealthiest states in the US and the offerings, especially for a struggling college student, were not the best food choices. I have made an effort in the last year to avoid fast food and greasy biscuits at all costs (taco bell has been especially hard to give up). Now I spend my all-nighters snacking on fruits, veggies and nuts. I feel and look much healthier. I haven’t let any predisposition ruin my health.

As a family we have found that we have increased our intake of Vegetables and Fruits – we eat far more raw foods (with less cooking) – We enjoy the healthful benefits of super foods that we may never have received when consuming processed foods (which we now eat very little of).
We’ve seen the Vita-Mix presentations and have always been amazed by the ease of creating Soups & Sauces and Smoothies & Ice-Cream type treats. It’s amazing what a lifestyle difference 1 Kitchen tool can make!
Enjoying the journey of healthy living 🙂

I have tried to cut out a lot of gluten, which is SOOO hard for me cause I come from a family of bread and pasta lovers!…
I find that if I am strict with that including beer and gluten filled condiments then I experience less puffiness, clearer head, and inflamation in my joints. Its definetly a struggle, but a vitamix would make throwing yummy stuff into one place and having a quick meal so easy!.
I also drink a few cups or herbal or green tea daily and it calms me and gives me extra herbal nutrients and is a nice ritual to have at some point during the day.
Deep breathing and taking time for myself also helps with anxiety and recharges my energy. There’s a few of my tips!

Beside the major shift to becoming vegan, the major change I have made in my diet is to eat and cook food with pleasure. Inspired by my 2-year-old-son, who by the way loves watching me cook and juice, I seek to make each meal a delicious and colorful experience that is not just “energy intake” but a sensory intake as well. I love adding surprise ingredients like a touch of apple or a certain spice or nut crumble to dishes to enliven them and keep us loving what we are eating.

I eat a plant-based diet, lost 72 pounds in one year, feel GREAT, went through “traditional” cancer treatments this year and am now CANCER-FREE. Just six weeks after I finished chemo and radiation, I was in Reno, Nevada, and bowled in the Women’s National Bowling Tournament and bowled two games in the 200s. I would love to win a Vitamix so I can help someone else in my family fix more nutritious recipes. My old Vitamix was 20 years old and still going strong!

With the start of 2012, I did my first detox that I now do every quarter. It consists of 3 weeks of no gluten, meat, dairy, sugar, processed foods or alcohol with the first week being fruits, veggies and plant-based foods only.
After the first detox/cleanse, my eyes were opened as to how certain foods affect me and my overall well-being. I eat far less meat, dairy and processed foods now and even more veggies and smoothies. The Vitamix would be most useful in getting the most out of my smoothies, allowing me to get more goodness in. I only have an immersion blender! 🙂

I juice vegetables now and my fatigue has improved because I get more whole foods in my diet…I had gastric bypass surgery on Feb. 7, 2011 and eating enough raw foods or any foods for that matter is difficult because of the bulk…so juicing has really improved my nutrient intake…we lost the entire contents of our little house on the NJ shore, because of hurricane Sandy but my juicer survived because it was up high….it’s a little juicer so a new vitamix would give me more fiber plus the juice, it would be a great win and a great moral booster…thank you for the chance to enter your giveaway!

I undertook an RBTI analysis and found out that I was too acid and not able to properly digest protein and carbs so have changed my diet by eating more greens, cutting out processed foods and cutting down my sugars except for fruit and taking a calcium mix and I am now back in the healing zone. The info I got from the analysis was amazing and this included what I needed to do to change my health – so much so that I am now trained and offering RBTI to my clients. Loving my green smoothies.

    Hi Jennifer,

I follow to principles when it comes to my health; ‘you are what you eat’ and more importantly ‘you are HOW you eat’!
This means choosing foods that are as close to nature, organic, unprocessed and made with love. As well as preparing and eating my meals in love and in gratitude.
For me, the way I buy, prepare and eat my meals has radically shifted my relationship with food and with myself, and has helped me to become stronger, more energized, and centered.

Paying attention to what my body feels from the foods I eat has allowed me to slowly rid myself of foods that make me feel unhealthy. I now feel much more energy and happier. It’s definitely helped my depression.

I am plant-based, more and more raw everyday, part-time fruitatarian and feeling better everyday.

I have cut out processed foods and eat natural foods now and have meat very occasionally and no dairy. I have a lot of health issues and now that I have changed the foods that I eat I have never felt better. I wish I were a lot wiser years ago about what you put into your body and just maybe I wouldn’t have all these health issues that I have today!!

I always drool over the Vitamix when visiting stores here in Australia. It is on my list of ” must haves” but at a price of $995 here in Oz I am still waiting 🙁 . So when I saw your post – eeekkk so excited for the chance to win one. Yippee !!
I don’t like to label myself as I think we should eat what our bodies tell us we may need. I feel that when you eat a clean diet you don’t crave the crappy foods that have high sugar in them. I eat a plant based diet, I juice and make amazing daily smoothies. My health has improved, I also have more energy and clearer skin. My moods are levelled out and I feel amazing.
Merry Christmas, cheers to your health xx
