Well i have both read and seen alot of books and Dvds. But the documentary “Fat,Sick and nearly dead” gave me that booze to just be healthier. And i LOVE to drink smoothies but my old blender that i have is not working that good anymore, it’s leaking and starting to get really annoying. I have always wanted to have a blendtec but it is really expensive and i can’t afford it. If i were to win it would really help me out a lot. And i could get even healthier

I have too many books and all have great nuggets of info in them. My healthier eating started over 20 years ago when a soy allergy reared it’s ugly head. I had to make everything from scratch and my book was in the human form of my mother. 20+ years later it’s more about learning to cook from the basics and making my things from that. Fat Sick and Nearly Dead got us back on juicing while Food Inc. had us eating more organic foods and knowing where things come from.

    Hi Jennifer,
It is really a hard call for me to name just one book. The journey to a healthier lifestyle began in my teens. With the birth of my 1st child at 27, I became evermore committed to living a healthy lifestyle. Now as a grandma, I look forward to seeing the benefits my grandchildren receive from something as easy and delicious as a green smoothie. Louis Hay’s Book Heal your Life was definitely a beginning point and remains an inspiration. Daniel Vitalis and David Wolfes stories and their work inspire me. I love Katrina Blair’s book “Turtle Lake Refuge’s Recipes for Living Deep”. I am ordering copies of your book to give for Xmas and look forward to reading it this Holiday and also giving a copy or two to family. Choosing is hard…ok “Local Wild Life” by Katrina Blair chock full of awesome raw wild deluciousness. Plus just like yourself Jennifer her work is creating beautiful positive changes for people and within their communities. And the love spreads out from there. Thank you Jennifer for all that you do to educate and serve.

Genetic Roulette and Fed Up were two of the most inspirational forms of media for me in terms of turning around my diet. It has been something that really made me think and since then I have wanted to do something about it! Also, if there were one place that I would love to get away and detox it would be to California along the beach somewhere. It is where I founded my health journey, and I honestly felt like the communion of people around that were health conscious made it easier. I want to thank you for this giveaway, its life changing to get a good blender to try to achieve goals of true health and wellness!
