Answer the question” What is your FAVORITE recipe book, DVD or inspirational/success story book??? When i watch the DVD Super Size Me it completely change the way i eat. I started on the journey to eating whole organic foods and grass fed meats. I read books Back to Eden by Jethro Kloss. Which is start on my journey of eating healthy foods. Starting this way of life to healthy eating. The same way fitness is a lifestyle, nutrition is a lifestyle too. You are what you eat. I want to live long and strong life. With no zero visits to Doctor unless for yearly checkups.

“The Santa Monica Farmers’ Market Cookbook” for helping me to use fresh produce more than I was.

My success story is from Fullyraw Christina.
There’s no one place that provided me with the inspiration I needed. It’s been mostly my research on the web for the perfect blender. My research through food blogs and product websites has shown me delicious soups, frozen desserts and of course many kinds of healthy smoothies. Although I love cooking (see my food on Instagram @photosandfood) I had no idea I could make so many nutritious and delicious foods with a blender. Thanks
Louise Hay, “You Can Heal Your Life”, continues to help me.
My current favorite recipe book is Nava Atlas’ newest book, Plant Power!
Hungry For Change completely inspired me, my wife also follows a fairly strict 80-10-10 diet so by default I do too.
A place where I could be active with things around so food wouldn’t be on my mind but I was engaged both mindfully and physically.
Joe Cross’ Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead documentary.
I would choose ayurvedahealthretreat because of the location and also has yoga which will help relax my mind. –
Complete Juicing by Scott Wale is my favorite because it allowed me to get in all of the nutrients that I would have not gotten if I did not do juicing/have his book.It was easier to get the nutrients this way rather than eating them with food/as a meal.
honestly i didnt read or watch any food related stuff to be healthy and in shape..i am a competitive athlete, and love the motivational “how bad do u want it” video!
Two years ago we got inspired by Mark Sisson by the book The Primal Blueprint for living a more healthy lifestyle. Then we found Jennifer Thompson’s Twitter feed which is amazing! She inspires me and my husband everyday with here quotes, advices, blogs, tips for living the healthy dream! Thanks for sharing this Jennifer! We would like to follow up our session with her and get on the right track. The blender from Blendtec would be very supportive! #healthybliss #blendtec #smoothies #healthylifestyle
I’m just starting my journey to a healthier me. I’ve enjoyed reading Dr. Thompson’s posts and tried a few of the smoothies she has offered up. Always a positive result, when I try. Now I’m ready for more DOING.
My inspiration is the documentary Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead. So great!
Books that helped me were David’s Wolfie’s Sun-food diet, Superfoods. I read many internet posts there, youtube was not existing when I started, but going for speeches, events, and educating myself in that matter was one of the best things I ever did to myself. Thank you, and good luck to everyone <3
Louise Hay…you can heal your life book 1
The book that helped my journey to health the most was “Okay, So Now You’re Vegetarian” by Lauren Butts. This was the first book I read when I decided to become a vegetarian, and it was extremely helpful. She broke down the different types of foods that I should be looking into (and how to pronounce them so that I wouldn’t sound like an idiot when requesting help in a health foods store), and broke down how to calculate my body’s nutrient needs. Additionally, the book had quick, simple, and delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
I always get inspired watching Extreme Weight Loss with Chris Powell. It’s always so positive and life-changing.
My favorite inspiration health book is called Healing The Gerson Way.
Would love to have that blender to start my healing. Thank you Jennifer for giving us the chance to win this incredible prize!
The documentary Food, Inc. was so eye-opening and life changing. I can definitely credit it with my desire to continuously educate myself and others about what we consume.
Seriously, the Green Smoothie for Dummies book has been a game changer for me. I have tried Juice Fasts before with no success at all. Now after reading the book I realize that I was not including ingredients that were working WITH my body– which is why I was not successful. Getting solid information is just so important and I am so grateful to have this resource that has made a big difference in my life and my health.
Oh the delicious and nutritious fun I would have with that blender!
My favorite recipe book that inspires and helps me is “Green Smoothies For Dummies” and Jennifer’s inspirational story of her own journey to health is a constant inspiration.
