This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!
Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

I’ve started incorporating more healthy fats into my diet (coconut, avocado, chia/flax). Lots of nuts too and I love experimenting with baking and smoothies that use nut flours or nut butters (hint, hint powerful vitamix blender would be appreciated haha yummm:P)
I’ve introduced a low-fat vegan diet, which includes lots and lots of leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts and seeds. I use green smoothies and fresh green juices as well. As an older person these changes have made my quality of living and energy level significantly better, in addition to clearing up any minor aches and pains. In addition to feeling terrific, I love the foods!
Making daily smoothies has helped our family squeeze in some extra fruits and veggies in a new way that tastes more like a treat (esp to the kids).
I eat more fruit and vegetables and, as a result, have a healthier diet. I’ve also lost a few pounds eating this way.
Green smoothies everyday, they give me so much energy
Hi !
One positive change i have made in my life is Juicing ! Im drinking at leat one complete 16 oz of organic, fresh and local (when it s possible) vegetables per day. Already feel good changes !
thanks
After being a vegetarian for so many years I decided to work my way into veganism. I have juiced before but now I am going to really work hard at getting healthier. Vitamix will be an assest to my daily regime. God bless ya’ll. Kathleen
5th year of trying to be vegan, but over the course had let some dairy/eggs in baked goods and some candies bought by family/friends slide.
For the past few months I’ve really been keeping to my commitments and feel really, really good about it.
Next step is a vitamix. If I don’t win this one, my goal is to get one in April. Will be another life changer for sure!!!!
Thank you for the contest! A positive change I have made this year was to drastically reduce the amount of meat and dairy my family consumes, what a difference this makes! I have lost over 30 lbs in 4 months
Started adding flaxseed to my food!
I am a younger (40’s) breast cancer survivor. No-one saw that coming- and I was living a “healthy” life, exercised, not overweight, Well, that changed so many things, yet there was little good information about what I could do to improve my life. I feel like I have been searching for a really good answer, and I think I found it at a Vitamix demonstration. That was just several weeks ago. I got out my old blender, and now, twice a day I eat raw whole foods- green smoothies and all kinds of recipies from the Vitamix website. Yum, and my skin is amazing! While a Vitamix is a long term goal, I am chewing my way through so many fresh, organic fruits and veggies from my old blender. Thank you for the website- I am hungry for this, and am sharing my journey with others daily.
Hi, thanks for this opportunity!! I was a person with a lot of issues, I have gastritis, colitis, endometriosis, overweight and severe acne. So I knew I had to do a lot of changes on my diet, so now, I don´t drink any kind of soda, I don´t eat processed foods, nothing in a can or package, I eat a lot of lettuce, spinach, and leafy greens, I drink only pure water and every morning I make a smoothie that always has to have something green. I eat nuts, seeds and healthy oils such as olive oil, coconut oil and avocado, I don´t drink milk, I don´t eat cheese, cream, eggs, I eat meat or fish only once a week… so I am feeling very energized every day and much much better. Thank you!! Blessings every one.
One positive change I have made in my diet is to be more conscious of what I am putting into my body–I ask myself: What will fuel my body and give me the most energy and benefit my body most? As a result I have been feeling less bloated, more energetic, more on track. I’ve still got a long road ahead but I am making great progress!
I have been reading for a while about the benefits of owning a Vitamix and I recently watched a live demonstration at Costco, and it was life-changing! Winning this draw would mean so much to me on my health and fitness journey! Thank you for doing this!
Eliminated dairy and added more plant-based whole foods to my already vegetarian diet, and my cholesterol level dropped 58 points! And, I feel great!
I strive to be vegan, I quit caffeine, and I’m having a green smoothie every day. I have severe stomach ulcers and I’m determined to have them healed by my next endoscopy!
My family bought a share in a CSA so we’ve had lots of fresh vegetables in our diet since this summer. It has definitely improved our health and energy and has forced me to be more creative in cooking!
I have started juicing and I have noticed that I have more energy at work. Now a days everyone has an energy drink in hand, but I have been able to get two fellow employees to switch over to juicing who also fell the difference.
I’ve cut all dairy out of my diet and I’m trying to eat lots of fruit and veggies.
Started going raw this fall. I’m loosing weight, skin blotches and bumps are all but gone, high sustained energy levels, and just an overall feeling of wellness. I’m hooked and started working green smoothies into my diet as much as twice a day. Got a place where I work that makes them using the Vitamix, incredible tasting!
I cut out soft drinks and became vegetarian and lost 70 pounds. My health is improving and I am inspiring my family and friends.
My husband and I recently (5 months) we have gone completely vegetarian thanks to the Vitamix. We eat tons of kale and vegetables. My father-in-law died in June from colon cancer and as a result my husband really took his health seriously. We have tons of energy and a ‘healthy glow’ according to a friend of ours 🙂
I would gift the Vitamix to my parents to aid in their healthy lifestyle. The best appliance for any and all kitchens!
I started having green smoothies with fruit for breakfast and eating more raw foods. I’m a senior and feel younger and more energetic.
Eating smaller portions have helped me to lose weight. Thanks for the contest, have always wanted a Vitamix.
I started 1 green smoothie everyday which has helped my muscular pain of legs a lot.
I stopped eating dairy 2 1/2 years ago and have lost weight and I feel so much better all the time. My diet is much healthier now that I don’t have dairy as an option for quick meals (no grilled cheese, no pizza unless it’s homemade with nondairy cheese, etc).
I have eliminated sugar, white flour. I only drink water. I have been doing a better job of making sure it is extra pure water. The biggest change is to begin juicing. I don’t have a “juicer” juicer, so I am getting used to “lumpy juice.” I am expanding the array of juicing recipes I am trying. I love beets, but my juicer isn;t quite up to them, but I keep trying. I am expanding my knowledge of eating healthier through juicing. I feel much better, fresher, livelier.
You ask the question, what’s one positive change I’ve made in my diet and how has my health improved? I’ve learned to love color. I feel that by teaching myself to love the variety of colors and taste new flavours has made a world of difference… I now search for deep coloured fruits, bright coloured fruits and I can’t keep my hands off any greens! Mother Nature has basically provided us with a beautiful visual work of art. This has changed my mindset and improved my overall energy, I can’t even begin to explain how amazing I feel. You can create wonderful salads, juices and soups with a rainbow of colors, you just have to start exploring new colors…
I’ve given up soda and feel tremendously better….more energy, less moody and no cravings.
In the last 4 months, I have cut sugar, processed foods, and red meat out of my diet. I have more energy, no longer feel foggy all of the time, and my IBS has disappeared. I have also lost over 35 pounds.
Since I have changed my way of eating, drinking smoothies, and just clean eating. It is amazing how much energy I have, weight lost, clear skin, healthy hair and nails. Everyone needs a Vitamix.
My positive change has been Kale. I try to incorporate it into almost everything I eat. It’s truly a wonder green!
My husband and I adopted a nutratarian lifestyle 4 months ago. He’s lost 35 lbs and I’ve lost 55 lbs and my blood work is all in the normal range now. We have greater strength, flexibility and energy. Oh, the power of veggies!
I stopped drinking juice. My blood sugar in the morning has began to get to the normal level and hopefully one day I can get off the diabetes medicine.
With two children, the most important thing I have done and continue to do is to involve them in our healthy eating choices.
They share my green smoothie, help make ‘ice cream’ from just frozen fruit, try a variety of raw vegetables, etc… But it isn’t about what they eat at home, but that they are involved in the process and learn to make healthy choices when away from home.
So what I have done for me: daily green smoothie, drink more water, add more raw foods to my daily diet and some with every meal. Most of all, trying to raise healthy thoughtful children
My kids love helping in the kitchen, but we are on our third blender in six years – they just don’t last with our daily use. A Vitamix would be amazing.
I’m also vary curious what an iridology session would teach me, and watching your smoothie DVD with the kids would be great! They still remember the course you gave us in Samui!!
I have made a positive change in my diet by becoming a raw vegan. I have lost weight without trying, have more energy, body odor gone and clarity of mind is like wow!! My only problem is I am using a Oster blender to make my smoothies..I NEED a Vitamix!! Thank you!!
eating healthier including green protein smoothies every morning. They are my fountain of youth and a new vitamix would make them even better! 🙂
I incorporated more fruits and veggies into my diet and limited my intake of meat and dairy, and I have so much more energy than I used to!
I quit smoking 6 month ago, joined a gym now I need to start eating raw
I have added tons of veggies and fruits to my diet. Not a total raw foodie, but a good portion. The result: I am more alert, I need less sleep, I take fewer naps, My skin color improves and so does my mood. Go veggies and fruits!!!!!
My husband and I stopped eating meat a year ago and we’ve never felt so good! More energy, less need for sleep…. it’s amazing!!
Having started eating my breakfast. I have a crazy schedule that doesn’t mean I need to skip breakfast. I buy healthier snacks, such as Fuji apples… They are small and I can take them on the go. I can even eat them while I’m driving. Make protein shake and fruit smoothies so I end up not eating junk.
My tummy feels lighter than ever and my skin glows. Do it for a week. What a change!
The one positive change for me was switching from the standard American diet to a plant based, no oil, nutrient dense way of eating : ) As a result my cholesterol dropped from 180 to 157 (after just 10 days) I am healthier, leaner, much more energized, and I feel younger, happier and am cancer free! I owe all of this to Dr. John and Mary McDougall. For more health info and hundreds of healthy recipes including vitamix recipes… go to drmcdougall.com
The one positive change I have made is adding chia seeds and herbs to my drinks. It doesn’t blend as well and hoping to win a Vitamix. The additives have curb my appetite and increased my energy!
Thank you for this chance!
After going to your lectures and having an iridology session with you in Seoul, I decided to go vegan. I have also recently gone gluten free as a nutritionist told me I was gluten intolerant. I feel healthier all round after making both of these changes and I feel that I’m also leaving a smaller carbon footprint and am being kinder to the Earth with these decisions 🙂
I cant name just one thing that’s been a positive impact on us – its a whole habit and lifestyle change. Eating clean is so hard to do, and sweets are so tempting. One thing we’ve tried to do is substitute a dessert-flavored Greek yogurt for real dessert. They’re packed with protein and are much healthier than ice cream or other desserts.
We’ve made a huge push to drink water, juice, or milk (that means NO SODA!), and also try to cram as many veggies into our diet on a daily basis. Also, we don’t cool with salt. Shocking, I know, but we’re used to not eating any salt at home and now I can’t stand eating anything with a ton of salt added. I recommend everyone to give it a try! We also found a great non-sodium seasoning at Costco and add it to almost any dish. It’s amazing stuff, gives great flavor, and best of all, there’s NO SALT!!! 🙂
Our health at home has improved tenfold – energy levels have increased, overall we are happier, and are more motivated to consistently work out. Choosing healthful options to eat is so important.
I gave up sodas and caffinated drinks, included more veggies and eat mostly prepared from scratch meals. That combined with riding my bicycle every chance I get has decreased my bp, increased energy, helped me lose weight and is keeping me healthy and mostly free of bothersome illnesses like colds. Although I am not all raw, I do include more raw food and am gradually shifting toward vegetarianism.
one positive change i have made is become pescetarian and make sure that majority of our food is organic. i’ve notice a lot of difference healthwise –
i have good immune system and turning pescetarian 3 months after having a baby it has been helping me get back in shape. with this change, i also decided to make all my daughter’s baby food from scratch after 6 months of breastfeeding. she its all organic mostly fresh from farmers market fruits and vegetables. i think having a happy baby equates to an even happier mommy – that in itself is important and a very positive thin in life and health.
I have vegetarian (vegan?) protein smoothies : almond milk,
Kale, blueberries & flaxseed w/vegetarian based protein
Powder a few times a week. Gives mr more energy & vitality!
Went veg this year, working on going dairy-free, too. I love waking up to a big ol’ green smoothie, albeit, rather chunky in my sub-par blender. All the green goodness boosts my energy throughout the day.
One very positive change has been to eat much less carbs and things with sugar. I am a type1 diabetic and due to this change I am now off of insulin! I also walk approx. 2 miles at least 5 days a week. I am lighter and feel freer to move in my environment. I would love a Vitamix, I have seen a demo and I am amazed at what you can make. Thank you for the chance to have one.
