This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!

Imagine starting the New Year with a Vitamix Blender…for FREE! Thanks to the generous folks at Vitamix, I have one FREE Vitamix Blender to giveaway this holiday season! This blog post will tell you everything you need to know about the FREE Vitamix giveaway, so keep reading and be sure to add your comment below! In addition, I’m also offering a FREE online Iridology Analysis and a FREE Green Smoothie DVD and eKit to the lucky winner. This is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to all of my loyal Twitter followers, clients and Facebook friends. If we are willing to offer you the chance of a clean, fresh start to your health and well-being for 2013, you better believe that we believe in what we do and we believe in you too!

Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

The ‘BMW’ of blender motors!

Now you know that the Vitamix is a blender. But I didn’t mention that it is the BMW of blenders. Well, it better be…for a price of $449.00 USD!! It’s the dream blender of every raw foodist and health enthusiast I know, including me! The reason why the Vitamix Blender is considered the best blender on the market is because it has an excellent motor, it’s extremely well made and it’s guaranteed for 7 years. You can blend anything in this blender thanks to that motor, even an avocado seed, it’s true! This is a blender that lasts for life; that’s why people pay a lot for it, because it’s really a long-term investment in your health. I am really excited to have the chance to give this away because I’ve seen the change that my clients have made, and I know that good food is the key.

An Online Iridology Analysis ($99.95 value): What it can do for you

Iridology is the science of the iris, or colored portion, of the eye. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the brain and central nervous system through the optic nerve. The optic nerve connects to the central nervous system (CNS) which is the main communication link to everything that goes on in the body.

Jennifer Offers Iridology via Skype, Phone or Email

Jennifer Thompson is a Certified Comprehensive Iridologist (CCI) and offers a complete Iridology Analysis via Skype, email or phone. As a health conscious, pro-protein shake person I attended a raw foods workshop with a friend. After being easily sold on the idea I decided to modify the plan for myself by eliminating meat from my diet and adapting a more plant based foods approach to my diet and to eliminate the protein powders. I also started including fruit and veggie smoothies into my diet daily. I was already fit but I noticed that I slimmed down even more, looked less puffy and fatigued and had more energy. Most importantly was the fact that I kicked my addiction to sugar, my debilitating allergies all but vanished and my rampant ulcerative colitis (12 years) was finally under control. I currently have a crappy blender but can’t afford my own Vitamix at the moment while I’m in between jobs but I’m really determined to try and continue this healthy routine while I am pinch pennies and looking for a career I love.

This year I have added cultured foods to my diet! It’s a fairly recent change so I can’t say that I’ve seen a ton of difference yet, but I am so excited to have the added immunity and protection that all that healthy gut flora can provide.

I want a VITAMIX so bad that I can taste all the fabulous recipes this fabulous machine can make. I simply cannot afford the Vitamix and would really love to own one so I can lose my goal weight! I changed my diet and eat less refined sugar and more raw vegetables such as celery, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, etc. I noticed that I have more energy but I need more energy by eating fresh vegetable soups and fruit smoothies. Thanks again for your consideration!

I having been drooling over a vitamix for years..

I have decided to eat all unprocessed foods. no sugar, no preservatives..back to the way life should be.
I would use a vitamix for green smoothies, making my own almond milk, actually being able to process ice and frozen fruit!

I started doing Green smoothies on Samui thanks to you! Met you at either the Spa or you came to Kamalaya where I was teaching yoga… and have been drinking those ever since 🙂 THANKS JEN! (I’m friends with Elicia.) I have more energy now because I’m taking in more nutrients and also my skin looks great! I’m in Canada now and would love to have a Vitamix!!!!! It would be so much better than just a regular blender as the food here doesn’t have the same quality as it does on Samui. Sooooo fresh there! So I need to include fiber in my smoothies!!! 🙂

One change (out of several) I’ve made is cut out red meat. Every now and again, I’ll get a craving. On the occasion I decide to eat some, I’ll keep the portion very small. Earlier this year I started feeling… sick… almost weighted down and just “not well” after eating steak or burgers. The same thing is happening now when I eat pork. This has been happening when I dine out or cook for myself. I’m glad my body is giving me signals and I have the desire to listen.

Never really thought about it until now: I do believe I’m cutting out MEAT – slowly but surely – from my diet.

Excited for the new food creations and combinations I’ll be experiencing.

I have started to cut down on processed foods and really cutting back on sugar. I have noticed a huge surge in energy, change in mood (for the better), stronger nails and shinier hair, clearer skin. This vitamix would be HUGE for me, my mom has one and I always make a green smoothie when i am at her house and love them and how they make me feel. Just wish she didn’t live 2 hours away. Thank you for your blog and this givaway!

In the past year I have had an 87 pound weight loss, and have broke most of my eating habits and what I am eating and when. My 3 children have watched me work hard for what I have done, by running, and healthier eating habits. They no longer call me “Big Momma” :-).

April 1st 2011 I decided to “try” juicing and eating a whole food plant based micronutrient diet after watching a couple documentaries. I had no game plan or for any rhythm or reason but to just try it.

Sure, I wanted to lose some weight and yet I felt I was pretty healthy otherwise. My family kind of “rolled” their eyes and said, “She won’t stick with it. This is a bit extreme after all!”

I have lost over 30lbs since April and I love my new lifestyle. I will never go back. I feel better than I have in years! Obviously I was NOT as healthy as I thought. My skin cleared, hair shiny and growing like crazy, I have nails now, teeth white and I am energetic. By the way, this is all without an exercise program and yes, I am a middle aged women. Even my countenance through stresses is unusually quiet. Your food desires change and you get very strong emotionally where nothing or no one will turn your aside from this very special path you are on. These are just a few of the changes. More serious ones are healing – but if I am repairing on the outside, I know my insides are rejoicing. To many years my body was crying out for “help”. It saddens me to even think I would abuse it intentionally now. Never…will I go back. Yes, meat is out of my life too…as well as other so-called foods.

For the first time in my life I feel I can take pride in something I am doing that has purpose. I am proud of doing a good thing not just for myself but by example too. When I’d see others setting out on this path after my sharing my story with them…my life feels filled. I tear up knowing and seeing how many are getting positive results. Yes, please everyone, share, share and do more sharing! Lives are at stake! Nothing will give you more joy in knowing you helped a friend or family member. Nothing… I am thankful for those of you that help educate us too. It’s prolonged my life…no doubt about it. 🙂

I have dreamed of owning a Vitamix for many years – I love smoothies of all kinds, and I make a green smoothie with my blender, but I know it would be much better and I would make them everyday with a Vitamix. I am almost 52 and pre menopausal – I also have a 16 year old son, so my stress levels have been elevated lately and I am trying to combat this by healthier eating. I would also benefit so greatly from the Iridology, that is so interesting and would love to learn more. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!

I think, for me, the hardest thing is to eat my veggies. I’ve made great strides in the last year, losing almost 45 lbs in the process!!

Hoping for a torn meniscus to be the diagnosis with my enormously swollen knee, an MRI revealed arthritis…not as fixable as the meniscus. After 10 years of on-again, off-again swelling, I quit meat & dairy cold turkey (pun intended) having read that in Europe, inflammation was widely known to be associated with dairy. I feel better than ever as a whole body and my knee, while not 100%, is a knee I can run on again. Since running has always been my mind cleanse and the compass to my optimal weight, I am beyond thrilled to have entered the vegan world of eating.

Hello Jennifer i wanted to first of all thank you for being the shining light that you are , inspiring so many to shift into a more healthy and conscious
way of life . My jouney has been a long time in the making with many struggles along the way . But the greatest shifts I have seen have always been accompanied with a change in diett to more and more cleaner levels
Now I’m totally organic and veggie and grow most of my own food.
But the real turning point for me came when I started drinking green smoothies, thanks to your encouragement . I had major issues with energy levels in the morning , being ADD my brain was just not functional for a good 3 hours after I woke up . But after green Juicing this all changed
I am now well on my way to becoming a healing practitioner myself .
My spiritual development also has gone higher and higher since green juicing , so thank you again for your work

    Keep shining brightly
    Blessings

We have three daughters, two of whom are also Vitamix users. We’re looking to winning the Vitamix for our 3rd and youngest daughter to make it a complete family thing!! 🙂

I now wake up full of energy and waiting for my beautiful babies to wake up! By simply adding smaller more regular meals to my day. as well as cutting out the junk I was eating that had ZERO nutritional value to me. I feel great, I have clearer skin, and now my 9 month old twins need naps before I do! I love the Vitamax because I can now bring my twins and my 9 year old into a healthier way of eating without the drama with my oldest to eat veggies!!! I’ve been trying to eat more smoothies with greens in them and hemp hearts. I feel like I have more energy. I’ve been giving them to my kids as well and love that they are now eating all their colours!

I cut out processed food and eat as much organic as I can. I no longer react badly to the food I eat…unless I cheat. I never realized some foods made me fatigues, some made my allergies act up, some made me bloat etc… I am still learning and changing but everyday I feel a little better.

We have started to eat more fermented foods and increase the amount of greens that we eat daily, wether it be in a smoothly form or just raw vegetables at every meal. I am learning about all kinds of fermented foods right now and would like to make kefir in the future too.

I’ve cut out all refined sugar and most processed foods out of my diet. I try to limit sugar to all pure and natural forms—primarily fruit and occasionally honey. I have boundless energy, I look and feel incredible. It would be awesome to have a superior kitchen appliance like a Vitamix to aid in continuing my healthy pursuits!

I have shifted to a predominantly vegan/raw foods based diet (smoothies every day!) and I can’t even begin to describe the number of ways that my overall health (mind, body and spirit) has changed for the better. I have lost 10 pounds, My skin has cleared up, my digestive system has improved, my energy levels have increased, and my moods have become much more uplifted… just to name a few things! 🙂

Almost 8 years ago I began to look at health differently, not only from a food standpoint, but from a holistic perspective. Health is much more than just eating food free from preservatives and crap, its about Balance. Balance in our mind, body, with relationships, being able to do the things we love and the income to afford it as well as giving back to those areas where we are spiritually fed. I was raised on Traditional Foods, limited sugar, exercise as a foundation. My understanding has expanded a bit to implementing clean water (which helped regulate my body and loose extra pounds), whole food supplements, sleep that helps restore my body and increases recovery time (as an athlete that is important), and being able to resolve any ‘break in the chain’ by energy work in various forms. Very excited to be on my way to achieving balance in every area of my life with strong foundation in place.

I recently started drinking a tall glass of water (14 oz) as soon as I wake up each morning. It’s made a noticeable difference in my day: I crave less coffee and fewer sweets in the morning, I seem to wake up quicker, and, throughout the day, I can feel thirst more distinctly. I can practically feel my cells hydrating as I drink that glass!

What is one positive change that you’ve made in your diet and how has your health improved as a result?

I have been increasing my smoothie/juicing intake and have been feeling amazing energy, digestion, clarity and overall fantastic results!

Sadly I do not use twitter so it doesn’t look like I will be entered into this giveaway?

Green smoothies has helped me lose 14lbs and counting. My energy level is up 150%, I don’t even have to drink coffee or tea anymore. I feel better, cleaner, my stomach processes my food better since I started eating cleaner, overall I feel a million times better. I would love a Vitamix to be able to pulverize the spinach and fruits to be more smooth 🙂

I am of the mindset that, when I know better, I do better. My lifestyle, and especially my diet, has “evolved” as I’ve gotten older and become more aware of/educated about of what’s good and not so good for myself and my family. The vitamix is a natural “fit” as we continue our journey into wellness and beyond to achieve an overall healthier lifestyle.

Over the past 2 years I have switched my daily way of eating to the primal/paleo way. With this I have notice a dramatic increase in my energy, change in my complexion, weight loss, eliminated many of my health issues such as inflammation and digestive and so on. With this I have been able to step out of my shell and join the crossfit world and lift weights which I had never dreampt of prior to my lifestyle change. It was the best change I have made in a long time!

I started buying organic produce for my family. That was huge. At the same time, I started to read Kimberly Snyder’s Beauty Detox book. She highly recommends the Vitamix and I’ve been day dreaming about them ever since. I drink my organic green smoothie everyday, but I use an old crappy blender. It’s double the work, but I still continue to do it every day for my health. Winning a Vitamix would be amazing!
