This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!

Imagine starting the New Year with a Vitamix Blender…for FREE! Thanks to the generous folks at Vitamix, I have one FREE Vitamix Blender to giveaway this holiday season! This blog post will tell you everything you need to know about the FREE Vitamix giveaway, so keep reading and be sure to add your comment below! In addition, I’m also offering a FREE online Iridology Analysis and a FREE Green Smoothie DVD and eKit to the lucky winner. This is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to all of my loyal Twitter followers, clients and Facebook friends. If we are willing to offer you the chance of a clean, fresh start to your health and well-being for 2013, you better believe that we believe in what we do and we believe in you too!

Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

The ‘BMW’ of blender motors!

Now you know that the Vitamix is a blender. But I didn’t mention that it is the BMW of blenders. Well, it better be…for a price of $449.00 USD!! It’s the dream blender of every raw foodist and health enthusiast I know, including me! The reason why the Vitamix Blender is considered the best blender on the market is because it has an excellent motor, it’s extremely well made and it’s guaranteed for 7 years. You can blend anything in this blender thanks to that motor, even an avocado seed, it’s true! This is a blender that lasts for life; that’s why people pay a lot for it, because it’s really a long-term investment in your health. I am really excited to have the chance to give this away because I’ve seen the change that my clients have made, and I know that good food is the key.

An Online Iridology Analysis ($99.95 value): What it can do for you

Iridology is the science of the iris, or colored portion, of the eye. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the brain and central nervous system through the optic nerve. The optic nerve connects to the central nervous system (CNS) which is the main communication link to everything that goes on in the body.

Jennifer Offers Iridology via Skype, Phone or Email

Jennifer Thompson is a Certified Comprehensive Iridologist (CCI) and offers a complete Iridology Analysis via Skype, email or phone. She makes recommendations for improvement that may involve doing some form of a detox (colon cleanse, heavy metal detox, kidney cleanse, skin cleanse, etc) and a change in diet that may include adding certain foods to your diet and reducing/minimizing others.

I have been adding more fruits and veggies to our meals as well as more whole grains. It’s been a little “difficult” with a meat and potatoes guy but we try. We make soups out of leftover veggies and that has helped too.

I just saw one of these at our local Costco … I almost bought it since I no longer have mine (it was borrowed…..). Who knows I may have to go down and get another if its still there at payday

One thing I have changed in my diet that has had a positive effect on my health is transforming myself from a meat eater to a whole food plant-based eater. If it is natural, whole food, organic, preservative-free, then it is good for me! A Vita-Mix would only help me achieve the ultimate nutrition that my body needs because of its ability to pulverize practically anything! This would be a great addition to my kitchen, but more importantly to my health! 😀 @vitamix @rawfoodbliss

My entire life of eating horrible, unhealthy foods suddenly changed a few months ago. I was diagnosed with a liver infection and gallstones. I immediately gave up all processed foods and began to eat nothing but whole foods, organic and local when I can, and learn/research about food itself. I’ve come a long way the past few months and it makes me really happy that I finally “woke up.” I’m a college student in my early 20’s so I try and buy organic when possible. I was never taught about nutrition and from what I learned in the past few months has totally inspired me to continue the pathway to great health.

One positive change I have made in my diet is to reduce the amount of liquid calories I am consuming. I would unknowingly consume so many extra calories from coffee drinks, smoothies, mixed party drinks, beer, etc. I have shrunk my waistline and feel great since making this change!!

I have enjoyed many different diet changes in my life… Vegetarian for years, gluten free for months, raw food for long periods of time as well. But the one thing recently that has had the biggest impact is I had stopped drinking coffee and started taking e3 live every morning. I mix the green liquid with aloe Vera juice and lemon water. It is the best start to my day! And I notice I’m more awake and alert all day! Thank Heaven for blue green algae 🙂

The biggest change I’ve made in my diet is, over the past year or so, replacing my sugar binges with freshly juiced veg/fruit juice. Usually around 4pm is when I used to want cookies or chocolate, and I now juice instead. I find that it makes me feel satisfied, stops the cravings for sugar, gives me more energy and makes me want to make more healthy choices. My skin is clearer, I’ve lost weight and I feel more balanced without the sugar ups and downs.

I will have my 3 year vegan-versary on December 31 of this year. I became chronically ill after a Christmas dinner laden with dairy and meat and decided to go cold turkey and stop eating both shortly after somewhat recovering from being sick. I began juicing and eating tons of raw veggies and was a raw vegan for 2 months. I noticed my adult acne disappear, I lost about 15 lbs of fat and have not had an allergy attack or cold since the change. I also experienced a mental clarity that is beyond what I could imagine.

A few months ago I watched the BBC documentary ‘Eat, Fast, Live Longer’ by Dr Michael Mosley. It made me really stop & consider my lifestyle & diet and the effect on my health. (You can find it on YouTube- it’s fascinating!).
Since then I have been following a 5:2 intermittent fasting pattern and I am eating much more healthily overall. This has had a huge impact on my wellbeing- I have lost nearly 5kgs, look & feel better & from doing no exercise at all I now regularly run 10km and am training for a half marathon 🙂
While I have made an effort to eat a great deal of raw food I would like to make my 2 weekly fast days into totally raw food days, a blender would be fantastic to help me achieve this!

The elimination of Fast Food and soft drinks is my positive change in my diet. Now because of this change, I have lost weight and go to the gym no less than 5 days a week. I feel good so that when I eat ice cream once in a while, I don’t feel as guilty. I know I need to go to the gym the following day. Now that the bad stuff is out of my diet, I have no desire to eat fast food at all. I rather spend my calories on fresh food.

It’s been almost two months since I started drinking 500 ml of warm water with one lemon juice and a tablespoon of alohe vera first thing in the morning. Additionally, I prepare a green smoothie every morning and have it as breakfast and sometimes also as lunch. I have noticed remarkable changes! Lost around 3 kg in 8 weeks apparently doing “nothing” else, feeling more energetic during the day, skin, hair and eyes look shiner, less sugar cravings, able to meditate more easily, drop down body fat %, feeling somehow lighter and certainly more happy! Something interesting is that I feel really happy when I prepare the smoothie and after I drink it is if I could feel that my body is happy instantly. Something really nice: My 10 month old baby is a green smoothie fan!

I’ve been a follower of Jennifer’s and Vitamix’s for years, and through them I’ve learned alot of tools for living a cleaner life. While I can’t afford a Vitamix yet, my old Oster provided my morning green smoothies until it broke several months ago. I borrowed a juicer from a friend to do a juice feast, and I’ve never felt better! Best thing I’ve ever done for myself is seeking out people who offer so much to others by way of nutritional knowledge. Green smoothies and green juices have been my health savior, alleviating me of mind fog, fatigue, and ills. They truly are nature’s best medicine 🙂

Portion control changes and eliminating sugars. For about a week and a half we have been working on changing what our body perceives as “portions” As we are ending our second week of measuring and weighing our food it is so easy for us to now recognize what we should be eating. We have also been carefully avoiding anything that has sugar in it. (Candy, ice cream etc) We finally came to a realization that no matter how hard we work out (and we do religiously) we can’t escape poor eating habits. It’s been such a great change, I’m looking forward to continuing on.

The first change of notice was of course a few lbs lost and secondly was the bloated, tired feeling after eating.

One positive change that I have made in my diet is an increase of green leafy veggies and cruciferous veggies. While I have always enjoyed and eaten veggies, exceeding the recommended daily intake and eliminating white flour has contributed to lowering my ldl. I am still working on it; however, these changes in the last 3-4 months have been wonderful.

I have switched to a primarily whole foods/plant based diet (lots of kale shakes!) and I have so much more energy!

Hi! Thanks for this great contest. My one positive change that I’va made in my diet recently is to be vegan. Eating more & more vegetables, fruits and to make a green juice every morning. What A change!

I’ve been drinking shakeology smoothie faithfully every morning due to vitamins intake and build muscle for my right foot that was broken 4 yrs ago. I am still struggling even though I have been working out every other day to help strengthen my muscles and be stronger. I would love to have a vitamin to make anything including raw foods to improve our health. Everyone I know from beachbody use vitamix and said its a champ one!
