This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!

Imagine starting the New Year with a Vitamix Blender…for FREE! Thanks to the generous folks at Vitamix, I have one FREE Vitamix Blender to giveaway this holiday season! This blog post will tell you everything you need to know about the FREE Vitamix giveaway, so keep reading and be sure to add your comment below! In addition, I’m also offering a FREE online Iridology Analysis and a FREE Green Smoothie DVD and eKit to the lucky winner. This is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to all of my loyal Twitter followers, clients and Facebook friends. If we are willing to offer you the chance of a clean, fresh start to your health and well-being for 2013, you better believe that we believe in what we do and we believe in you too!

Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

The ‘BMW’ of blender motors!

Now you know that the Vitamix is a blender. But I didn’t mention that it is the BMW of blenders. Well, it better be…for a price of $449.00 USD!! It’s the dream blender of every raw foodist and health enthusiast I know, including me! The reason why the Vitamix Blender is considered the best blender on the market is because it has an excellent motor, it’s extremely well made and it’s guaranteed for 7 years. You can blend anything in this blender thanks to that motor, even an avocado seed, it’s true! This is a blender that lasts for life; that’s why people pay a lot for it, because it’s really a long-term investment in your health. I am really excited to have the chance to give this away because I’ve seen the change that my clients have made, and I know that good food is the key.

An Online Iridology Analysis ($99.95 value): What it can do for you

Iridology is the science of the iris, or colored portion, of the eye. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the brain and central nervous system through the optic nerve. The optic nerve connects to the central nervous system (CNS) which is the main communication link to everything that goes on in the body.

Jennifer Offers Iridology via Skype, Phone or Email

Jennifer Thompson is a Certified Comprehensive Iridologist (CCI) and offers a complete Iridology Analysis via Skype, email or phone. She makes recommendations for improvement that may involve doing some form of a detox (colon cleanse, heavy metal detox, kidney cleanse, skin cleanse, etc) and a change in diet that may include adding certain foods to your diet and reducing/minimizing others.

  • The skype call is 1-hour in length and is recorded. The video file is sent to you by email after the call.

Well the biggest change was I went raw last November, trying to find a way out of Type 2 diabetes as I am an amputee and have been a personal trainer for over 10 years I need to fix the weight gain and eliminate the diabetes.. With the guidance of my doctor and the help of many raw foodist I have lost over 100 lbs to date and have not taken any medications since Nov. 13, 2011. My bp is 82/90, my A1c has been at the 6.0 range and all of my blood work ups have been stellar. Having been so inspired by that change in my life I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nitrition’s Health Coaching program.

A few weeks ago my grandma was diagnosed with a rare brain disease. I chose to support her recovery by doing the Gerson Diet Therapy along side her. What I didn’t expect was that I would end up reaping the cancer curing benefits myself! It’s been two weeks since I’ve been juicing and eating the Gerson way and a suspicious mole on my leg is dissolving before my eyes!

About 4 years ago I was diagnosed with IBS and the doctor indicated that it was just something I would have to live with. He suggested using laxatives to help with my daily stomach aches that resulted in my bent over at 90 degrees with such bad cramps that I couldn’t straighten myself out. I called it “food baby” because my stomach would swell so much after eating that I looked about 6 months pregnant. It was awful and so painful but I didn’t believe in laxatives so I changed my diet completely! I started eating cleaner and I slowly became a vegetarian and then a vegan. I added super foods to my diet and started juicing. I now eat raw food as often as possible, and am strictly gluten free! I have never felt so good in my life! My stomach aches have completely gone away and i haven’t had food baby for years now! My skin glows, my hair is silky, my nails are strong! I can’t believe how much has changed for me just by cutting out animal products and gluten. Family and friends have noticed the drastic changes and have tried to make changes in their lifestyles as well. That is perhaps the most rewarding part- seeing that I have influenced others around me to eat smarter, cleaner, and greener! If it doesn’t grow from Mama Earth I won’t go near it 🙂
As I have gotten more into healthy living I have wanted a VitaMix for making all my delicious smoothies, juices, almond milk, etc. It has been on my christmas list for the last 4 years! I would be to the moon excited to finally have one in my kitchen!!!

I have been on the path of the raw food lifestyle since I was a teenager in search of healing my digestive system. From having severe IBS and chronic digestive problems, I discovered cleansing and the benefits of daily juicing when I was 16. Instead of a new car for a birthday present, I begged for a new juicer and a copy of Cheri Calbom’s old-school “Juicing For Life”. Armed with these two tools, I experimented with cleansing and how to heal myself so I didn’t live a life riddled with health problems. After just a few months I began to see huge differences in myself. Juicing led me to raw foods, and my passion for holistic nutrition and plant-based food led me to launch my own company right out of college. Now, my days are blessed with sharing this passion with others to create custom cleanse plans and guide them through the experience towards better health. Juicing has changed my life, but more importantly, it’s helped me be a light in others lives! I am grateful for this lifestyle and awareness everyday.

What is one positive change that you’ve made in your diet and how has your health improved as a result?

One? I was stressed, both physically and emotionally. After several years of a variety of diagnosis I found a (holistic) doctor (I never thought there was legitimacy to that holistic stuff) who suggested it was adrenal fatigue. Her treatments immediately helped and I realized what I put into my body can manifest itself in SO many ways!! I was eating badly, cholesterol was high, wasn’t exercising. So i started doing research, found the powers of wheat grass, almond milk, whole and raw foods, juicing. My cholesterol is way down, I’m lifting weights (still having problems with aerobic exercise) and feeling so much better about life. I’m still tempted — and sometimes give in to the cookie, but I’ll never go back to the burgers and fries and pizza and wings lifestyle.

When I got engaged, I began to make changes to my diet, cutting carbs, adding more veggies and proteins and exercising. Now, months after the wedding, I have embraced more clean eating and make daily green smoothies to help give my workouts and body a boost. I can totally tell my skin is clearer, my energy is higher, I feel less bloated and heavy and my husband says my skin all over glows! I told him its my Omega-3s from the fish oil I add to my daily green monsters 🙂 These changes have become a way of life and I am not going back! Unfortunately the blender I have isn’t the greatest but I’m running with it until the blades fall off! Jennifer, thanks for all the great twitter health advice and happy holidays!

I have switched to all-organic food and have noticed my skin looks and feels much better. I no longer get “sun allergy” like I used to. In fact the sun is so important among other things because it brings to the surface what is usually hidden under the skin. So I’ve also added a daily serving of sun – weather permitting – to my “diet”.

I was commuting to my previous job an hour and a half each way, and I had adopted a very unhealthy “road diet.” The last two years of this road diet had taken a significant toll on my body: I gained 30 pounds, experienced kidney infections, awful PMS symptoms, and a painful cyst in my breast. I knew something had to change. I left my job and took a job locally. I’ve biked the five miles to work. I began a regimen with a local herbalist where I have done a 90-day detox and cleanse, eliminating harmful foods, drinking herbal teas, doing green smoothies, eating a raw food diet, and ending with a juice fast. Tomorrow is the last day of the 90-day detox and cleanse, and I can honestly say I’ve made a lifestyle change. I’ve lost 20 pounds, have more energy, have experienced no cysts and have experienced few, if any, PMS symptoms. Perhaps most importantly, I’ve introduced my children to the joys of juicing and raw foods. Not only has good food been my medicine, but it has been the healing medicine for my family as well.

I was addicted to coffee… numerous cups per day. I quit my addiction to coffee when I dealt with the inner issues that wounded me as a child. Getting rid of coffee drastically helped my body be more alkaline and improved my ability to sleep. I replaced coffee with working out at Max Life Fitness and Nutrition and changing my diet to be more alkaline.

In the last 18 months I’ve had a number of health problems to be so young (currently 27.) I had to have an umbilical hernia surgery and doctors recommended I have my thyroid removed. That was the eye opened for me. I have now eliminated a number of acidic based foods from my diet and leaned more toward healthier foods with more alkaline to avoid thyroid cancer. Before I was lethargic and struggling through the day, oversleeping for work, and it was effecting my work. Now I have much more energy which allows me to get a morning workout in and the food I eat is helping me lose weight I couldn’t shed before. I am 280 now but I plan to get down to 200 in the next 6-12 months. It’s amazing how the body can heal itself if given the right tools, real food. I hope to take full advantage of the prizes if won and keep you all informed of my progress. Best of luck to everyone, continue to love, laugh, and eat real food!!!!!

Wow, it has been quite a year. I have really tried very hard to focus on my diet and exercise. I have significantly reduced my sugar consumption. My exercise has fluctuated – still a work in progress and I will participate in my first 5K January 1st! I am really committed to making these changes lifelong – it is a lifestyle and not a one time stop. I would love to add the Vitamix and green smoothies to my regimen regularly! My blend just can’t handle the greens. I have enjoyed following Jennifer on twitter – there’s so much great information that she shares. Fingers crossed!

For many years I have had gastro complications. Dr’s, Gastro Surgeons, have put me on many medications. Also, Cholesterol was thru the roof. But nothing seemed to work. The medicatons made me sick. Then, I started reading and gaining knowledge on gastro problems can occure by the foods I was easting. Within this year, I started eating raw, vegan, gf. and noticed a HUGE positive difference in my digestion and my cholestrol went down. Which has drs scratching their head as to how in a year my cholestrol went down without pills, Also, my skin, got clearer, my body & mind energy increased. I do notice during my continous reading towards eating raw many meals are used in a VITAMIX. I use a regular blender for some juicing, but not many. As for juicing in a regular blender is difficult. Currently, I am seeking ways to financial purchase a VITAMIX, but, it has been impossible. I’m hoping that perhaps a VITAMIX givaway, can possibly be an avenue towards owning one. A VITAMIX for Christmas, WOW! Know that would be like a dream come true by bringing me back to my childhood days.
Good luck to all. Merry Christmas.

The most empowering change I have made in my daily diet is to eliminate all meat products, drink a powerful Kale Green Juice Brocade each day and eat raw foods. I have been on dialysis and desire to live and eat well. I prayed and ask God to show me how to heal. I found Jennifer Thompson by searching on Google for wellness help. As I read her personal journey of wellness, tears streamed down my face and joy echoed in my heart. I knew she was speaking truth. Jennifer and several other inspiring motivators have been teaching me the power of raw food. The first lab draw I had after changing my life style was a drastic change. My levels improved dramatically! My stamina improved. I was able to start running. I ran in and completed 3 5ks this Fall. It was pure gift and confirmation of the wellness benefits of juicing and delighting in raw foods. The most astounding improvement is that my body went from retaining 15 pounds of fluid a day down to less than 2 pounds to sometimes none. The doctors also decreased my treatment time on the dialysis machine. I know as I continue on this wellness journey the machine will go and RAW FOOD delight will increase even more. I am looking forward to what is too come. Boom, boom for RAW FOOD EUPHORIA! Thank you

One positive change that I’ve made in my diet recently is focusing on alkalizing to prevent disease. As a result, my health has improved. I have more energy and sleep better at night. I haven’t been sick recently even though several people I know have come down with something. I’ve had better digestion and feel more in balance overall. Can’t go without my daily smoothie and this blender would be a great way to continue that.

I have noticedmy life long acne trouble going away, fat melting off and energy through the roof. I also notice a spiritual difference eating living food. Eating this way has changed my life and become my passion. My goal to feed my family to be the best they can be. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. If would love to have the Vitamix blender to take my cooking and kitchen pharmacy to the next level. Many blessings and happy holidays! Thank you for all you do!

One positive change I have made is trying to cut out animal products, and replacing those with more beans, grains, fruits, and vegetables. I am starting to feel more energetic and positive, and hope I can keep making changes in my diet slowly.

I realized I needed more leafy greens! Adding them to smoothies has really helped me focus on healthier food.

I have started juicing at least twice a week. My skin and hands feel so smooth. My complexion has improved. Plus I’m loving testing out different raw juices.

What haven’t I changed? I started doing exercise, drinking apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning, green smoothies everyday, eating more raw food, drinking lots of water and being happy enjoying every moment on earth with my family 🙂

My older sister became a vegan for the very first time in her life. The Vitamix blender is at the very top of her Christmas list, and I would very much like to give her one! She moved away from home recently and I miss her a lot even though I see her on the weekends. She doesn’t ask for very much at Christmas, so I know that this is something that she would truly love.

I asked her the question listed above randomly just now (by text – I didn’t tell her what it was for), and this is the answer she gave: “One big difference is cutting out the meat — and dairy too which I will have very sparingly if at all… I feel lighter and even if I overeat I don’t feel crazy bloated or gross and my digestion is better.”

Please help me fulfill my big sister’s Christmas dream!!

The best decision I have made for my health was to take my vegan diet to a plant strong, clean vegan diet. I had been an overweight vegan for 8 years due to poor processes food choices and 2 years ago I was sick of feelin sick! I started exercising and eating clean and green but still vegan. 50lbs in 6 months and still keeping it off. I have never felt better!!

I’ve recently gone gluten free and now have eliminated refined sugars from my diet. My energy levels are much improved as well as my digestion. I’m also making the change to a more plant based diet, which can be a little challenging when you have to be gluten free too, but I know I can do it! 🙂 Your tweets inspire me every day!!

    Here’s to a fabulously healthy 2013!!

I have removed wheat and gluten entirely from my diet, which has improved my life beyond words. I have more energy and feel amazing, which makes it easy to continue making healthy lifestyle changes. I am currently consuming more raw foods as well, which has already improved my moods and my sleeping habits. After years of struggling to find out what was wrong, I finally feel in control of my health now and empowered to continue making the right choices for me!

I have started eating clean and also cutting back on carbs, increasing protein and feeling great. I have a post work out protein shake and my old blender barely does the job. I would love to make green smoothies, soups, nut milks etc etc and all of the great things the Vitamix can do. I want my family to get the benefits as well and involve my children in using the Vitamix to make healthy eating a way of life and be fun at the same time.

The most recent positive change I’ve made in my diet is giving up sodas. Haven’t had one since this summer and don’t miss them at all! My skin is much clearer, and my stomach is flatter. I’ve been a vegetarian for almost nine years now, and sometimes find it difficult to make quick, healthy meals. A Vitamix would be a God send! I can see myself using it everyday, if not every meal! I followed on Twitter, also: @KateM53364973 Thank you!

I increased the number of raw fruits and veggies I consumed on a daily basis a few months ago. Now I have 5 servings for breakfast and two to four as snacks during the day. My skin is always glowing, my energy and concentration is through the roof. People started to tell me that I look younger after the second week. I use a very small food processer but a Vitamix is what I really need!

I start out each day with a fruit smoothie. It has helped me eat less and I begin the day knowing I have had all my fruit servings. 😉

I went gluten free, and had so much more energy, and less gastrointestinal irritation. Just to make sure, I went back on gluten and felt worse again. I also eliminated dairy, which helped even more. So now I rarely eat either one, and have a ton more energy, feel better and overall enjoying life much more than I did before!

I’ve switched from a morning coffee to a morning water with lemon. Lowering instead of raising my blood pressure. 🙂
