This Beauty of a Blender could be Yours for FREE!
Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

I drink green juices everyday. Rejuvenating.
One positive change that I’ve made in my diet is that I’ve replaced high sugar sweets and snacks with nutritious smoothies, juices, and fresh soups; as a result, my blood glucose levels are improving. I have much weight to lose and I believe that a vitamix would be an invaluable tool for me.
I’ve made a lot of changes in my diet that have positively impacted my health, but the one that I believe has had the biggest impact is changing my vegetarian focus from grains and beans to GREENS! I love my greens and my body loves me for eating them (every day,in every way!)
Thank you HealthyBliss for the Vitamix Blender Giveaway – you guys are awesome!
The positive change I’ve done in my diet and how this has improved my health is: trying to juice. I substituted my normal breakfast (eggs, sausage, toasts, and bacon) for a green juice. I feel more energetic and more invigorated since I start my morning with this juice of goodness.
I am trying to change my diet more every week and eat more veggies. My green juice was my first change. I am now in the fresh soup phase with only veggies and I’m liking it more and more each week.
Here is to a life with healthy habits…
I have change my eating habits to fruits and veggies & Protein! workout 6 days a week at boot camp! and drink 1 gallon of water a day! Lost 68 pounds! 🙂
The one positive change that you’ve made in my diet is that I’ve become a vegetarian and am doing more Yoga. Within the last month or so I’ve incorporated more of a raw food diet (2-3 days). I have more energy and feel invigorated.in the morning when I awake.
one positive thing i have recently done is that i bought a vita mix, with it i have started juicing vegetables and incorporating vegan meals into my diet, i have noticed a dramatic change in my energy levels and and sleep. my mother recently came to visit from Mexico and i have been showing her how to do all of this, it would be awesome to get one of these from you guys to give to her as a Christmas gift
My family and I gave up processed foods and we are feeling so much better. We have more energy, we are sleeping much better and naturally, we are not as hungry! The VitaMix, DVD of Green Smoothies and the Iridology analysis will benefit us an help us get the nutrients we need.
I gave up fast food, meat, sodas and junk food for 21 days. During that time I dropped over 25lbs. Since then I have started working out and have maintained a healthy weight. My blood pressure was always borderline and now it is in the normal range. I also started running and ran my first marathon recently at the age of 35. My wife an I are considered on of the healthiest couples around. Because of us we have friends who are taking on a healthy lifestyle and getting results.
Went vegan and loved it. Definitely feel healthier without all of the cheese and butter.
I’m a work in process 🙂
My main change is to eat as many vegetables and fruit as I can in a variety of ways and tastes
Cut out processed foods, sub refined sugars for whole foods and have avoided illness, increased energy & alertness.
A positive change I made was giving up soft drinks! And added more fruits and veggies.
Since cutting dairy and meat out of my diet, I have not only lost 30 pounds, I have gained my health back. I still have a way to go but I know having this Vitamix will further me on my journey to health. I used to walk up the stairs and be out of breath, I couldn’t even tie my laces without passing out. This change has been significant and I’m looking forward to bigger and better things regarding my health,
I cut out almost all refined white stuff flour, sugar etc. Its a start
I have recently become a vegetarian. I am also considering giving up wheat products.
I stopped all dairy, stopped eating fast food and started buying only God made foods. Started drinking a green smoothie daily. My body aches and pains have mostly disappeared!
My one positive change was to give up red meats. I no longer feel sluggish, I eat more veggies and my energy has never been better.
I have been making small changes throughout the year, but two major changes have been 1) making salad my staple…and having done that, I feel so much better and 2) eating less cheese…it has been a natural change, just realizing that I don’t like cheese as much as I used to….pretty cool when things evolve naturally….I have wanted a Vitamix for years….but have always found excuses for not being able to decide on which model to buy….it’s always a thrill to see ways the universe can decide for you:)
I have changed my diet completely and eat healthier foods and have lost 15 pounds and feel better than ever! The Viatmix was a reward to myself for sticking to a healthy lifestyle. Now it is much easier to make healthy and delicious smoothies, dressings and soups etc! The best purchase I have made in a long long while. Totally worth it! If I win a Vitamix I will give it to a friend to help inspire them to eat healthier.
Cheers!
Anthony
Ive heard these are amazing. I sure could use one.
I’ve recently begun making green smoothies for my wife and I . It’s too early yet yo see any differences but we’re excited! Is there a way to enter this contest without being on Twitter? Because I’m not. I’d be happy to like a Facebook page though, if you have one.
I have a green smoothie each morning for breakfast. This has been great for my health both mentally and physically. When I start the day with something healthy not only is it good for my digestion but I keep the positive attitude all day.
One positive change I’ve made lately is to almost completely eliminate processed foods from my already vegan diet. When I started out being vegan, I definitely overused vegan “junk foods” like Daiya and vegan ranch dressing. And, although delicious, I feel better than ever with my new focus on whole foods.
I have started using kale in my salads instead of romaine 🙂
I started having green smoothies everyday for breakfast for the past 2+ years. Usually apple, carrot, orange/lemon, banana, berries, beets, spinach, kale, flax seeds, chia seeds, protein powder and other stuff depending on what I have on hand.
The benefits are astounding. I used to have extremely high LDL cholesterol and was on Lipitor daily. After 6 months of smoothies, I no longer need it. The energy is way better. Sex life is better. Everything is better.
I have some friends can I plan on gifting the Vitamix to if I win. Thanks so much!
Hi Jennifer the one change I have made is to stop drinking coffee in the morning and to replace it with a delicious green smothie, it may be not a big change for a lot of people but for me ohhh wow!! It has been!! I was skeptical at the beginning thinking I couldn’t survive without coffee but oh boy I have so much energy now than ever before, now even my 4 year old asks for a green smoothie in the morning!! Thank u so much for the work and effort u put in for us to maintain us inform!!
I have been cutting my calories and I have already lost 15 pounds!
I’ve increased my raw fruits and vegetables and have started to try to bring more ‘non-meat’ protein into my diet. I found that these changes have given me more energy and an over all feeling of well being.
Greatly reduced my meat intake. I’m now vegetarian 80& of the time (and vegan for about half of that!). Digestive and energy issues have reduced as a result. And groceries are a wee bit cheaper as well.
My positive change is going vegan and I sleep so much better at night because of it.
I have been drinking more water, and not eating as much, in terms of portion control. Additionally, I have been doing stairs more, resulting in looser clothing-and that is a good thing!
I’ve purposefully introduced more/enough protein… (specifically to support my activity!)
I have more energy, and while I haven’t lost weight, my size/shape has diminished… proving to me I’m creating the needed muscle!
I gave up “whites” white flour, white sugar, white potatoes…. I have lost weight and have more energy.
Started to juice and blend in my small blender, love the taste and would love to be able to do more to improve my health. So far I am sleeping better.
Awesome Contest Jennifer. The main change and biggest I’ve made is going “cold” in 2012 I’ve been following mostly Green Smoothie diet, upped my fitness plan, and eliminated processed foods, white foods, most meat, my green drinks are 2 x’s a day, and I eat approx 4 oz of seafood, usually halibut or Mahi Mahi, with a large salad & some organic brown rice for dinner. The changes as you could imagine have been significant. I had brain tumor surgery a couple of years ago & could never ‘get back” to my once healthful self. Energy was horrid & the meds I was on, weren’t helping either. Diet changes did.
Your blog and site are a huge help to me and so many others!
I’ve started buying my produce exclusively from the organic farmers’ market. I’m not sure how it’s improved my health specifically, but I enjoy eating a wide variety of in-season fruits and veggies that are fairly local and pesticide/hormone free.
i constantly incorporate new foods, herbs or exercise in my diet. for example, i now add wheatgrass to my vitamix drink each morning!
My family and I are now eating only organic foods. We are including as many different leafy green super foods to our daily diet. We are hoping to cure a serious health problem this way, rather than taking medicines with so many horrible side effects.
The biggest change in my diet is I don’t eat out anymore. I start making meals at home. Baking breads, start making my own flour mixes, and try to omit white sugar in my diet. With the possibility of winning a Vitamix, I can start making my own nut flours, I actually been saving up in hope to own a vitamix ever since I saw a demo at my local whole food market. But with the lost of my job, I have to carefully weight the way of my spending. Thank you for offering this giveaway, one can dream!
I’ve tried my best to limit my sugars. I’m having a hard time. I’ve mostly switched from Regular Pepsi to diet. I know this is not the healthiest thing, but I also know I don’t get those stupid sugar highs and lows anymore.
The winner will be contacted by email. The winner will also be announced on my twitter feed and Facebook page on 26 December, 2012 at 12 noon EST. Thank you!
I am learning to meditate.
Started juicing a couple of years ago… And wow! After learning more and trying new things (kale, goji berries, raw cacao), I am loving life! Have given up soda, most dairy, processed and canned goods and feel so much better! Now, a better blender would make it all that much easier! Cheers!
I became a vegan on July 5, 2012 – the day after watching Forks over Knives. HUGE improvement in my health!
Fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies for breakfast!!
I stopped eating meat April 10, 2012. The health benefits have been countless. I have a digestive disorder called gastroparesis and I had no idea how much better I would feel after giving up meat. I can’t wait to get blood work done to see results in numbers.
Eating more greens and raw foods. I still have much room for improvement in my habits but my general mood is improving. Thank you for the opportunity for this giveaway.
Turns out I am gluten intolerant, so I cut out all gluten and am super diligent about it. I don’t cheat and all lots of questions before I eat something I didn’t prepare myself. It has made a world of a difference.
What is one positive change that you’ve made in your diet and how has your health improved as a result? Some positive changes I’ve made in my diet involve incorporating supplements and removing items that cause inflammation and allergies such as wheat and dairy. But, if I had to choose one it would be juice fasting. This has really helped to improve my overall health and eliminate over 5 different medications. 🙂
