If we are willing to offer you the chance of a clean, fresh start to your health and well-being for 2013, you better believe that we believe in what we do and we believe in you too!

Just in case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep. Getting fiber in your diet is so easy when you simply have 1 healthy smoothie a day. Add superfoods to your smoothie and you can really maximize the power of your foods to get the most fiber, nutrients, minerals and chlorophyll – all valuable tools for healing and all elements needed to make you feel that Healthy Bliss!

The ‘BMW’ of blender motors!

It’s the dream blender of every raw foodist and health enthusiast I know, including me! The reason why the Vitamix Blender is considered the best blender on the market is because it has an excellent motor, it’s extremely well made and it’s guaranteed for 7 years. You can blend anything in this blender thanks to that motor, even an avocado seed, it’s true! This is a blender that lasts for life; that’s why people pay a lot for it, because it’s really a long-term investment in your health. I am really excited to have the chance to give this away because I’ve seen the change that my clients have made, and I know that good food is the key.

The best change I made was four years ago, when I became a vegetarian. Since then, I’ve also gone through periods when I take out dairy(eggs have always been out of my diet) and have also discovered recently that when i focus on having 7-9 fruits and veggies a day, I am much happier. I have found that I perform better in my daily life, am less prone to attention issues and run better.

At 53, not very good health (have to take meds), 5’3 I finally hit 190 lbs, the last 10 years have been a little rough with my health so I have “firmly committed” to juice my way back to health and weight. I also have two young grandboys that I would like to get healthier as well, they are 3 & 4 and one is a sweet tooth and the other is a junk food junkie. My husband however is an entirely another trick. I need recipes that will help me get him healthier by masking flavors.
This is a fabulous opportunity and I look forward to trying “green smoothies”and all! There is so much leftover when I juice now that I wonder how much nutrition I am actually getting. I hope who ever wins the Vitamix has the same commitment that I have made.
    Thank you!

The best change I have made in my life is understanding food is not something you just put into your mouth. It’s life, it’s medicine and it is love. It’s Mother Earth embracing us through Her own creations (fruits, veggies). Drinking a green smoothie (or a fruit smoothie) is like drinking pure life, you can feel the energy running down your system. I love it!

I have reduced the amount of “grains” (even healthy at that, i.e. oatmeal) and added a protein shake for breakfast after workout (which combines a number of things as a result of research–i,e, maca, chia seeds, “greens”, quality organic vegan protein powder) and added more fruits and vegetables (though basically a healhty eater)…and have added pro biotics as well, but have been DYING to do my own juices and healthy soups among other even healthier shakes that I make in a more custom fashion.

I have lost inches, and I think started sleeping somewhat better …digestion still could use some help….but there is still so much I want to do from a healthy eating point. I have also tried to add more organic items into my diet and have also limited more grains… I just find eating healthy truly has a high price tag and its a shame (especially on the east coast). Being able to juice kale, greens, juices, soups, etc..well a god send..FEELING GOOD, is still the optimum desire, and I am seeking better energy, sleep and skin and …oh, HEALTH the greatest gift! But you do the best you can you know! VITAMIX BLENDER is one of numerous staples dream of having in my life

How to choose just one positive dietary change? So much has made a difference to my energy and health over the last 15 months of embracing more raw food. I think eating lots more vegies and fruits with plenty of water has made my gut regular and happy, has increased my energy levels and friends tell me I have a glowing skin colour.
Isn’t it funny how food can also help you to feel more positive and happy?
I know that feeding my family smoothies, and lots of raw deliciousness straight from our organic vegie patch is really working for all of us when my husband says that he misses our smoothies for breakfast when he’s away and my weightlifter son asks especially for raw meals and smoothies when he comes for dinner.

I’ve lost a total of 15 lbs as a result of my changes. I’m also down to a size 2 – good and bad, it’s hard to find clothes – lol!

I was the college kid who lived off ramen and pizza and then I got candidia severly,to the point tinea vesicolor appeared on my skin. So now I have cut out all processed foods, anything not organic or unpronounceable does not go into my body. I eat no forms of sugar not even fruits yet. I have been discovering smoothies with my food processor that I use to make raw food. I do not eat any wheat or things high in carbs. I have to make my own flours even out of coconut and almond. I feel great though. I do not have sinus problems anymore,my digestion system is regulating, I have a ton of energy, and I do not have the foggy head anymore. Everything is brighter and clarity is amazing.

    a. I became a vegan 12 months ago. I have lost weight, my blood work (cholesterol etc) has never looked better. My skin is clearer and my energy level and other physical aspects of my life have all dramatically improved. When I say I’ve become vegan this means that I eat fresh, whole foods like fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. I don’t eat from cans or boxes. I stay away from refined foods. I avoid sugar except for what comes naturally in plant food.

Hello! I have made a couple of changes during this year, most of the information I get it from your tweets Jennifer!! So I am very thankful for this. I have completely eliminated white flour from my diet and I have seen enormous changes. For example, I don’t feel bloated all the time, another thing is that I don’t have that many mucus on my body and I think it has a lot to do that I haven’t gotten a cold this year!!! I used to wake up with a lot of phlegm but that is gone 🙂 also my stomach feels like more stable.
Another change I am trying is changing my breakfast, trying to make it a smoothie every day, I believe that the first food that comes into our body in the morning is key to being healthy!! This is why a Vitamixer would help A LOT!!!! Thank you 🙂

The most positive change I have ever made to my diet and mind has been buying a juicer and using it daily. Sipping delicious juices day in and day out, has made me feel incredibly more energetic and overall much healthier. Furthermore, it’s an excuse to clean out the fridge! I have the unfortunate tendency to sometimes over-buy produce and reluctantly watch it go to waste. Juicing is a great way to throw in that extra broccoli we forgot to have at dinner, or finish that enormous bag of spinach no one wants to eat. Seeing people close to me also enjoying these little elixirs makes me blissfully happy, because I know I’m making their day a little bit healthier too 🙂

My life started to change when a friend taught me about the meat industry and GMO’s. As soon as I took those things out of my diet miraculous things started to happen. Headaches, migraines, body aches, gout, arthritis, IBS, depression, and my anxiety disappeared. My favorite meal changer is smoothies or juicing. Fresh and organic is my new motto. By the way thanks for giving all of us a chance for such an awesome giveaway! I’m excited just thinking about a chance to own such a machine!

I am trying to eat way less wheat in bread, pasta, cereals, etc.

I am trying to train myself to see items made with white flour, sugar and fat as unhealthy and unappealing, to have a negative reaction to them if I see them in stores or in the media, and therefore not have a desire to buy them or eat them as “treats” or “rewards.”

Since we have done this we both have been feeling much better about ourselves and I have noticed that our immune system is much stronger too. I thinks it’s really important to know what you are putting in your body and how it effects you. Since we found out how GMO effects our body’s we have changed deratically in our eating habits.

I was diagnosed with a strangeand painful pelvic condition and was popping otc pain meds around the clock. It began to get tiring and annoying to have to keep it up. It seemed that everything in my body was out of whack. I was stressed; I had horrible acne; I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep; it was awful. I was laying in bed one day (in pain) and began to watch the documentary ‘Food Matters’ and from that moment on I have been on a mission to naturally heal myself through proper nutrition and…it worked. I have been pain free for 2 1\2 months, my acne is completely cleared, I have soaring energy and I’ve gone from a size 10 to a 6. Every morning I make my green smoothie to get me day going and it truly puts my mind in a better place for the rest of the day. My friends ask me how my “diet” is going but everytime they ask I ensure them that this isn’t a diet…its a lifestyle.

I removed gluten from my diet and it has been life changing and maybe lifesaving, my inflamation levels were sky high, I had joint pain and swelling, intestinal discomfort, and constantly tearing eyes; I began feeling better within three days of removing gluten and my doctor said we don’t need to do anymore testing the evidence of gluten intolerance is obvious in my improving health. I really would love to have the Vitamix to be able to make healthy soups and smoothies and possible grind my own gluten free grain. It is a challenge sometimes to figure out what to eat that is gluten free and with the Vitamix I could really blend up some healthy meals. Thank you.

    Aloha Jennifer,
Seven years ago I was fortunate enough to sit beside a woman at a local health fair in Sebastopol, CA who was sharing freshly made raw almond mylk with passersby. It was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted, and six months later and 40lbs lighter, I knew I would continue this for the rest of my life. That one glass of almond mylk set me on a journey of raw food that continues to this day.
One year ago, I put my entire life in order in CA and moved to HI, fulfilling a 30 year old dream to move to the Big Island. Living among hundreds of fruit trees and large organic gardens, and having access to all the tropical fruit that grows all over this enchanted island has changed my life in so many ways. I wake up every morning giving thanks for all the gifts I receive from Nature every day. Now I know that choosing food that is alive and vibrant is the way to nurture and nourish my body and spirit in ways that I can’t begin to describe. Mahalo nui loa to Mother Nature!!
