Gallstone Flush & Liver Detox – Recipe & Cleanse Info

With the exception of the skin, the liver is the largest organ in the body and performs over 500 functions, far more than any other organ in the body. We cannot be healthy or recover from illness without a strong, clean well-functioning liver. If the liver is unable to carry out its full function, not only does it become congested and weak; all other organs will be more challenged as a result.

All information in this article is for educational purposes only.
It is not for the diagnosis, treatment, prescription or cure of any disease or health condition.

Imagine how much happier you liver feels after releasing these!

If you want to do more specific liver cleansing, you can try a Liver/Gallstone Flush at home. This flush can be done in just 24 hours, so it is easy to fit into a busy schedule. It is recommended that you have done a full 7-day cleanse prior to this flush, mainly to take the toxic pressure off your organs and to be sure that your body is alkaline.

In the days before the cleanse, it is important to avoid fried and fatty foods so your liver is not over-worked or stressed. Avoid avocado, cheese, nuts and fatty meats for at least 3 to 5 days before this cleanse. If you work a normal Monday – Friday work week, it is best to plan to do this cleanse on Friday night, that way you have the entire weekend to rest, relax and recover.

Mix Olive Oil and Fresh Lemon Juice in a bottle

The most common recipe to use for this cleanse comes from Dr. Hulda Clark’s book A Cure for All Diseases. If this is the first time you are trying this cleanse, I recommend that you use this formula, outlined below. If you release more than 200 stones in the first flush, it is recommended that you repeat the cleanse every 6-8 weeks until you have less than 20 stones come out. It is believed that you may have to release up to 2,000 stones to rid yourself of allergies linked to liver congestion. On my first Gallstone/Liver Flush, I released 600 stones – no joke!

Please note that with Dr. Clark’s recipe, she recommends using ornithine to help you sleep and she also recommends to do a parasite cleanse before you do the Gallstone Flush. If you want to do those things, that’s ok; personally I have never used ornithine and I’ve done this cleanse 13 times in the past 10 years. I did not do a parasite cleanse initially, although I have done them since…in my opinion you do not have to do a parasite cleanse prior to this flush, but admittedly you may get better results if you do so.

Preparation

Eat a diet high in alkaline-forming foods and low in fats for at least 3-5 days before the cleanse.

Help to gently prepare the liver by having a glass of fresh apple juice every day for 1 week prior to the cleanse. Apple juice helps to dissolve the stones.

Gallstone Live Flush Ingredients

  • Epsom salts (Magnesium Sulfate): 4 tablespoons. (You can usually buy this at your local pharmacy.)
  • Olive oil: 1/2 cup or 125 ml (light olive oil is easier to get down).
  • Fresh pink grapefruit: 1 large or 2 small, enough to squeeze 1/2 cup (125 ml) juice. (Or use 7-8 fresh lemons/limes: squeezed into 1/2 cup juice.)
  • 1 liter jar with lid.

Gallstone Liver Flush Instructions

Choose a day like Friday or Saturday for the cleanse, since you will be able to rest the next day. Take no medicines, vitamins or pills that you can do without; they could prevent success. Stop the parasite program too, the day before. Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal, fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk). This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

Mix Epsom Salts and Water, marking the bottles with a black marker to know how much to drink each time

2:00 PM. Do not eat or drink after 2 o’clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later. Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 Tbsp. in 3 cups (750 ml) water and pour this into a container or jar. This makes four servings, ¾ cup (185 ml) each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get cold (this is for convenience and taste only). Note: I also make the 9:45pm drink described below at 2pm and I put it in the fridge, ready to drink later. Making all the drinks at my last meal makes me feel more committed to do the cleanse, and I can prepare everything while not feeling hungry. I highly recommend that you do this too, and do not allow any re-negotiation to skip the cleanse for another day just because you feel slightly hungry at 6pm.

6:00 PM. Drink one serving (¾ cup) of the Epsom salts and water drink. If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in ¾ cup water now. You may add 1/8 tsp. vitamin C powder or 1/4 fresh lemon squeezed to improve the taste. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth.

8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another ¾ cup (185 ml) of Epsom salts and water drink. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success.

9:45 PM. Pour ½ cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Squeeze the citrus fruit (fresh grapefruit, lime or lemon) by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with fork. You should have at least ½ cup. Add this to the olive oil. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery. Do not drink it yet!

Now visit the bathroom one or more time, even if it makes you late for your ten o’clock drink. Don’t be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones.

10:00 PM. Drink the potion you have mixed. Take it all to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons).

Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don’t. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don’t clean up the kitchen. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down on your right side with your knees pulled up close to your chest. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don’t. Try to sleep in this position.

Next morning. Upon awakening (6:00 am) take your third dose of the Epsom salts and water drink. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don’t take this potion before 6:00 am.

8:00 am (2 Hours Later.) Take your fourth (the last) dose of the Epsom salts and water. You may go back to bed again.

After 2 More Hours you may eat. Start with fruit juice (see note below). Half an hour later eat fruit (see note below). One hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered.

*NOTE – Fresh apple juice is the best juice to break the fast. At 10:00am, make fresh apple juice using 5-6 large apples in a juicer and drink it. The apple juice helps dissolve gallstones and is a nice transition for the liver from the detox back to normal eating. After 30 minutes, prepare a chopped apple salad or a plain apple smoothie using 3-4 apples (with the skin is ok). If feeling unwell, stay with apples and apple juice for the entire day. Only transition to light foods, salads and regular eating when you are feeling good again.

How well did you do? Expect diarrhea in the morning. Use a flashlight to look for gallstones in the toilet with the bowel movement. Look for the green kind since this is proof that they are genuine gallstones, not food residue. Only bile from the liver is pea green. The bowel movement sinks but gallstones float because of the cholesterol inside. Count them all roughly, whether tan or green. You will need to total 2000 stones before the liver is clean enough to rid you of allergies or bursitis or upper back pains permanently. The first cleanse may rid you of them for a few days, but as the stones from the rear travel forward, they give you the same symptoms again. You may repeat cleanses at two week intervals. Never cleanse when you are [acutely] ill.

Sometimes the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. They appear as a “chaff” floating on top of the toilet bowl water. It may be tan colored, harboring millions of tiny white crystals. Cleansing this chaff is just as important as purging stones.

How safe is the liver cleanse? It is very safe. My opinion is based on over 500 cases, including many persons in their seventies and eighties. None went to the hospital; none even reported pain. However it can make you feel quite ill for one or two days afterwards, although in every one of these cases the maintenance parasite program had been neglected. This is why the instructions direct you to complete the parasite and kidney cleanse programs first.

CONGRATULATIONS

You have taken out your gallstones without surgery! I like to think I have perfected this recipe, but I certainly can not take credit for its origin. It was invented hundreds, if not thousands, of years ago, THANK YOU, HERBALISTS!

Gallstones can be flushed easily and naturally with no pain!

This procedure contradicts many modern medical viewpoints. Gallstones are thought to be formed in the gallbladder, not the liver. They are thought to be few, not thousands. They are not linked to pains other than gallbladder attacks. It is easy to understand why this is thought: by the time you have acute pain attacks, some stones are in the gallbladder, are big enough and sufficiently calcified to see on X-ray, and have caused inflammation there. When the gallbladder is removed the acute attacks are gone, but the bursitis and other pains and digestive problems remain.

Gallstones Released Naturally

The truth is self-evident. People who have had their gallbladder surgically removed still get plenty of green, bile-coated stones, and anyone who cares to dissect their stones can see that the concentric circles and crystals of cholesterol match textbook pictures of “gallstones” exactly.

So I have a friend of a friend of a friend situation here…there is this person who is in jail…he has complained about pain in the area of the gall bladder accompanied by symptoms that would suggest gall stones…I have friends who have used this cleanse, minus the epson salts with great success…I suggested this cleanse to the friend of the friend…the only problem is there is no access to olive oil, only canola oil, and it would be bottled lemon juice…is there any point in trying this cleanse with the substitutions

      Hi Melissa,

There are a few natural remedies to help relieve gallbladder pain naturally. You can try drinking organic raw apple cider vinegar – 1/4 cup immediately followed by a glass of water. The pain should subside in about 20 minutes. You can also drink fresh lemon squeezed in water – about 1/2 lemon in a glass of water (in your case using 1/4 cup bottled lemon juice would be ok, but if you can get fresh, it’s definitely better). Drink first thing every morning for 4 weeks straight (if you don’t have access to lemon, then use 1/4 cup organic raw apple cider vinegar instead). Fresh ginger tea is also very good. Also, eat 1 raw garlic clove per day. All of that can be done without ant olive oil. Definitely do NOT use canola oil in lieu of olive oil as it will not have the same effect. Good luck!

      To your health,

      Jennifer

      Dear Jones,

I would not recommend commercial apple juice since it contains refined sugar, is pasteurized so lost its valuable enzymes and usually contains very little apples (hence the cheap price!).

Look at this cleanse as an investment in your health…what a few days of fresh apples will cost you now can save you thousands of dollars on the future. It’s all about the long-term goals. Good luck!

      Blessings to your health,

    Jen,

Awesome cleanse! I completed the master cleanse and went on the liver cleanse right after. Bunch of tiny specs of green looking stuff but no hard rocks. I’m finding that over 30 years of doing the master cleanse annually, the last three years it took longer than 10 days to get a clear tongue, more like 3 weeks now. Probably more pollution in our environment, but ending with the liver cleanse was a little rough, but I’m glad I got it done in 1 day. Greatly appreciate this one, thanks so much for posting this!

      Hi Judy,

Well done for your commitment to annual cleansing for 30 years – next year will be 20 years and counting for me 🙂 You may have to add some heavy metal cleansing in to get continued good results. Sadly our food, water & environment is polluted more than ever, especially in the last few years.

      Keep up the GREAT work!

I wanted to thank you for the recipe. I couldn’t count all is the stones, but I’d guess at least 200 came out. From reading the article, where upper back pain is referenced, I believe that I had that. It had been progressing over recent weeks. I hadn’t associated it with gallstones. My back pain is now gone. It felt like I constantly needed to have my back cracked, I’m guessing, because my gall bladder and liver were swollen with stones.

I’ll be doing this again in a few months and throughout the next year, but one question I had was regarding water intake… I felt dehydrated because I did not take water throughout the process. Could you perhaps edit the article to address water intake? Again, thank-you. I really believe that I will now not need surgery.

This is a myth and fake method.
This ‘liver flush’ is a complete fake I’m sorry to say.
It is very believable though, because it is publicised by people who invariably believe in it themselves.

The Olive Oil, Acid and Bile in your stomach plus the acid in the lemon or grapefruit juice combine to make congealed lumps.

You might want to ask – why olive oil? and why do most of the internet recipes for this insist on ‘extra virgin olive oil’ – its simply because its green and therefore more likely to make you think they are gallstones.

If you keep them in a warm place, they will melt back down to the oil. Real gall stones made of cholesterol or bilirubin don’t do this.

      Greetings Shalini,

I disagree with you 100% in everything you say. IF the stones were just olive oil, then you would expect the same results every time. After all, the amount in should equal the amount out – that is your theory if you think the oil turns to stones. In fact, that is absolutely untrue. People’s results vary. The same person can do this cleanse over and over and over and have LESS stones coming out every time. How can that be if it’s just olive oil? OR is it actually because the cleanse is WORKING and the liver is more CLEAN?!

I myself have DOUBLED the dose of olive oil and I got almost no stones out (about 6-7 small tiny ones vs. the first time I did it with a normal dose of olive oil and 600 STONES!!!!). Not to mention, the improvement in skin, digestion, metabolism, etc that occurs altering doing this cleanse. I have even felt a strong release of anger and felt an overwhelming feeling of love and forgiveness after doing this cleanse (I’ve done it about 16 times now). Can you feel forgiveness from drinking olive oil? Probably not. But in cleaning your liver…an organ known to hold on to anger and impatience? I would say so!

Also, I lived in Thailand for 6 years. I have kept the stones in my bathroom ON THE SINK overnight, with NO air conditioning, several times. The average temperate there is about 30C. My coconut oil in the SAME room is always liquid. The stones? They turned brown from oxidation but they did NOT melt. NEVER EVER turned to oil. Some were soft – like Playdoh, some were hard (and clinked in the toilet) and some were gritty. They smelled awful. Definitely NOT olive oil.

I did notice that you tried to include a link to your own website and “cure” in your comment. It’s really sad to see what has happened to the natural health and healing business over the last 20 years. It used to be that we all shared ideas and encouraged each other. We were all pioneers, learning the way. Those were really fun times.

Now, the business is full of jealousy and trolls. The arguments over “this is bad, my way is better, that is fake” are the biggest waste of energy I have ever seen and in no way in the spirit of healing. Leaving a comment like your to confuse people simply to try and flog your own product is not only unprofessional and unethical but it’s also very bad karma in your healing journey.

      In health and joy,

      Jennifer

It’s painful, cracks all the time and doesn’t bend too well. I can’t seem to stop this milk moka thing even the morning of the cleanse- maybe that’s why I don’t get a lot of stones out. I did get one out 1/2 inch wide though.

          Hi Rhona,

Try not to be so hard on yourself – it sounds like you are doing your very best! Cleansing is just 1/2 of the healing process. The other 1/2 is what you are eating (i.e. how you are taking care of your body) in between cleanses. It’s very possible that you are eating something which is creating that inflammation in your toe. The first thing I would recommend is a reaction journal, that is to start documenting every time the pain is exceptionally bad and then note everything you ate for 24 hours before. I can already guess in my mind what the foods might be, and yes (unfortunately) there can still be nasty additives in “so-called” healthy foods that can do this to you.

The other thing to consider is another type of cleanse. There are actually many different types of liver cleanses and your situation may need additional cleansing instead of repeats of the same one. In an Iridology session, I help you determine the best cleanses and the order that you need to do them to see results. Every person is a bit different and will need different tweaking to get things just right.

Good luck! You are doing a GREAT job!

          My best,

          Jennifer

I am thrilled to find your sight. I have completed Dr. Clark’s cleanse several times. Twice I became ill and threw up. When you said you don’t put the walnut haul in, that solved the mystery. I did the cleanse your way, no sickness. I then began to grate some fresh ginger and squeeze it’s fresh juice (a few large drops), not the pulp, into the olive oil & juice mixture. No nausea whatsoever. I got more stones then ever.
It seems to me that if all one puts into their body is liquid, then solid and liquid come out, one is removing something other then just the liquid they put in. Therefore, by deduction, you could say that your are removing a solid that was there before you put the liquids in and the liquid pulled the solid out with it. The real proof for me is that, before I did the cleanse, my neck, shoulders, and back hurt, I became allergic to the sun after some nasty sun poisoning once, and had stomach problems. After the cleans all of those problems were gone. So whatever caused all that, the cleanse fixed it and I’m simply glad it’s gone. Blessings to all.

      Hi Bernadine,

It’s not recommended to drink coffee on the day or the day after the cleanse because coffee is acidic and will also make the liver work harder. When you are preparing for this cleanse, you want the liver to be as “relaxed” as possible so it can generate bile. If you needed some form of caffeine, you might want to try organic green tea. Green tea is more alkaline-forming and not nearly as hard on the liver as coffee. The day after, you still have a few detox drinks (with Epsom salt) to take in the morning and you do not want to consume anything besides water during that time. After you last drink and some fresh apple juice, as long as you are feeling ok…you could have an organic green tea.

Long-term, reducing the amount of coffee you drink should definitely be in your health plan. If you are that hooked, then it’s a real sign of imbalance. Meanwhile, be sure to increase the amount of magnesium you take daily so as not to burn out your adrenals. Take 3 tablets 3 times daily, spread throughout the day.

Be well and blessings to your health!

Jennifer, so I think I’m that 1 person that had to go to the hospital after attempting a liver/gallbladder flush. I never got to the oil stage. I became severly dehydrated (yes, I was well hydrated prior) and had diarrhea & then just plain water coming out of me. I literally was using the bathroom every 5 minutes. That was with 1/2 dosing of the Epsom Salts. I have a CBS mutation that doesn’t allow me to process salts very well, so I’m not sure if my negative response had to do with this fact? Either way, my liver/gallbladder is congested and I really want/need to do this cleanse. Any suggestions on how I can try this without landing in the hospital? Can something be replaced with the Epsom Salts? My 14 yr old has jaundicing due to congested liver/gallbladder. I was trying the flush prior to her doing it. She is diabetic so can’t have apple juice and she too has the CBS mutation. Any suggestions for her?

      Hi Heidi,

I’m really sorry to hear about your bad results. I’m not a medical doctor and cannot give anyone medical advice relating to any disease or illness. It does seem to make sense that if you have a mutation or illness that does not allow you to process salts, that you should avoid high doses of salts. Of course, it’s best to consult with your medical doctor in these rare and unusual cases to be sure that you are doing the right thing given your CBS mutation.

There are some healing foods which are known to be quite good for liver and gallbladder congestion. In particular, DANDELION ROOT TEA is reported to be a good remedy for gallbladder complaints. You should expect to drink it 2 times daily for a period of 4-6 weeks. Finally, another good natural remedy for gallbladder is to crush raw walnuts and raw honey together into a paste and eat one Tablespoon twice daily.

For any questions related to medical advice, it’s best to see your medical doctor.

Thank you and blessings to your health!

I had a question about the apple juice part. is it possible to put an apple in a vitamix and blend it and drink that and have it still soften the stones? An apple is no points and 8oz of apple juice is 3 points. (how much apple juice should we be drinking to soften the stones?)

If i have to do the apple juice I will…..obviously it is more important and will benefit my weight loss later.

Although I am a believer in flushing gallstone and liver regimen, last Saturday I passed almost 4 cm “stone” in length. This was my 3rd flushing since 2007. My cholesterol level balanced, high blood pressure kind of ok. I do not have any digestive problem, I pass 2-3 times a day, no constipation. Hence I read some articles and started having little doubt about Dr. Clark’s regimen.
Has anybody get them lab tested?
It says; “They are merely bile-stained “soaps” produced by partial saponification (soap formation) of the oil. A recent demonstration found that mixing equal volumes of oleic acid (the major component of olive oil) and lemon juice produced several semi-solid white balls after a small volume of potassium hydroxide solution was added.”

I just finished doing Dr Clark’s Kidney Cleanse (3 weeks) followed by the Liver Cleanse (2 weeks) followed by the 2-Day Liver Flush. Here is what I have to say about the whole experience.

Firstly, I consider myself “opened mind” and truly believe in the statement, “Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.” I also believe that modern medicine has many, many benefits but I also belief that there are major flaws, problems, and issues within the medical/pharmaceutical industries (be it from a procedural point of view or from a financial or “business” point of view). I also believe that homeopathic medicine also has many benefits and in many cases more advantageous than modern medicine and in some cases just as good.

I am not medically trained but have experimented with diet, exercise, various detox programs, and holistic remedies over the past 30+ years. I am currently 49 years old, very rarely eat anything processed or “machine-made” and keep detailed records of my bi-annual blood tests, which include kidney function, liver function, cholesterol markers, ALP, Bilirubin, Calcium, Creatine, CRP, Sodium, Zinc, Vitamin D levels (just to name a few).

Based on the lab results, I will often change my diet or consult a homeopathic doctor for natural ways to address any results that may be either too high or too low (although lately I seem to be pretty balanced, thank God). In other words, Im very proactive about my health and diet.

Before doing the kidney and liver cleanse, I went to the hospital with a friend who was complaining about severe abdominal pain. He ended up getting an ultrasound to see if he was suffering from gallstones. After he was diagnosed, I asked if I could get an ultrasound to see if I had any internal issues I was unaware of plus I was just curious. I then got an ultrasound of my kidneys, gallbladder, panaceas, and liver. My results were clean, i.e. no indication of stones of any size. In fact, the doctor was a bit impressed and asked what my diet consists of. In the end, my friend had to have his gallbladder removed, which I belief was the best treatment for the severity of his problem (not one I would have like to make but one that I believe was necessary for him).

It was after my ultrasound that I started my cleanses. I took the supplements and capsules and drank the herbal teas as described in the Kidney and Liver cleanses. I did the flush as instructed which produced quite a few “stones”.

Ive read articles upon articles that range from the benefits of this flush to simply producing “olive soap”. After the flush, I was left with a few questions. I didn’t feel any better or worse than before doing it, although I did feel slightly uncomfortable during the actual flush, although not too severe. The questions I have are:

1.) If I had these stones inside me, why didn’t they show up on the ultrasound? We are not talking tiny microscopic stones here, some of my “stones” were bigger than 5 mm.

2.) Medical doctors state that gallstones do not exit anally. Well then why did these? Either they are NOT stones or gallstones DO exit anally. Who is wrong in this case?

3.) The bile ducts are 1/2 mm in diameter, if these stones passed thru a 1/2 mm tube, wouldn’t that cause some sort of pain? Wouldn’t one feel something 10 times its capacity (ie a 5mm stone passing through a 1/2 tube)?.

4.) I tried to get my “stones” analyzed at a medical lab but they said they don’t do it… where can one send a sample of these stones in order to see if they are in fact real stones. I’d be willing to send and pay to get my sample analyzed.

5.) When I was collecting my stones into the plastic container, I noticed that they had a smell (no, I didn’t actually sniff them but I do have a very sensitive sense of smell) like “throw up”. Do gallstones smell like throw up or were these stones produced in my stomach and therefore smell like throw up? I’ve also read that gallstones smell foul; these did not smell foul but did smell like throw up.

I’m not ready to claim these cleanses are bogus, ineffective or non-beneficial (since I have done numerous cleanses in the past in which I did benefit from and they did in fact do what they said they would do) but I do have my doubts about this PARTICULAR flush. I believe the cleanses (ie the tea) may actually be good for the body; however, in regards to the flush, I’m actually leaning more toward it being inaccurate, non-beneficial and/or bogus.

Can anyone comment on my questions or experience?

P.S. I am planning a blood test to compare my results before and after the cleanses to see if anything changed because of it.

I did a cleanse on April 16 and passed a ton of stones… it took me a few days to feel good again. since then ive been very cautious on the foods ive been eating, how ever this passed Sunday April 27th I went out to eat with the family and had a pretty heavy meal. that night wasn’t very fun… do you suggest I do another cleanse? What is your personal opinion on the length of time a average body take to heal its self. Id just like to know how to plan my summer ive realized eating healthy (raw, juicing, smoothing) takes a little bit of work and some planing. Because Ive always thought I eat healthy but my body seems to be disagreeing with me…

I have gallstones detected by ultrasound last year 2013 with the biggest of 7 mm. I am afraid to have it checked again as I am scared it would show a bigger stone. Is it possible for the flush to work regardless of how big the stones are? I would like to try this flush but am scared as some say, there would be a possibility that it would get stuck in the cystic duct which would cause more serious problems that would lead to surgery.

    thanks…

I have had serious gallbladder symptoms for over a year but had no idea because I ate a mostly clean and greens diet so often that I only noticed it sometimes and I thought it was always something else.

It took excruciating pain and a lot of research to discover that my gallbladder was in need of some serious help. As of right now I CANNOT eat anything cooked (that I know of) or anything with fat or it will bring me to my knees in pain once it reaches the gallbladder.

My question to you is considering the severity of my condition, if and when I do this cleanse then flush to a T will I be okay to eat cooked and fatty foods (in moderation of course) again? I understand that you cannot tell me anything for sure but would you say that it is likely so long as it is a gallstone build up and it isnt anything else?

I did a terrible and extremely common apple/ apple juice flush that only got out the superficial gallstones (small green) and in the process I probably fed the fermentation, if you will, in my stomach with all the sugar I was consuming.
I am 27, very strong athletic body, have been eating only organic for a long time, but went back to eating meat on a regular basis a couple years back.
I believe the excess of cooked foods, chicken, and a slight addiction to eggs on a daily basis has led to this, otherwise I have no idea. I plan on doing these flushes 2 times a year once this is over. As of right now
I am on day 4 of only raw and high alkaline diet and when I eat like this there is no pain whats so ever which is another reason I know its the gallbladder, I really want this to work as I just want warm food once again especially considering its winter.

Thanks for your help and I hope this wasn’t too lengthy.

You have to lie still once you have the final drink, so if you decide to lie in bed all day, then that would be fine, go for it! Just be prepared to start running to the toilet at night…you surely will not be able to go to work or go out the same evening, TRUST ME!

In that case, I would strongly advise you to find an organic source of marijuana. The hydroponic stuff is full of chemicals, and that’s NOT good for your liver!

Hi Jennifer and thanks for posting such a thorough and detailed liver cleanse procedure. This cleanse renewed my love of grapefruits. Yum. Do you know percentages of people who have gall bladder stones? 100% of the population or only a portion? What diets contribute to gallbladder health? (fat free?) I ask because I followed this diet exactly – including no fats two days prior (I only ate organic apples and organic apple juice) and didn’t see any stones. I even caught the “droppings” in a colandar to make sure. I’m eat well and do yoga regularly, but certainly I should have some, right? I plan on doing it again in two weeks to make sure. Thanks for providing this information to us all!!

Hello! I followed the specified steps religiously and luckily I was able to flush out more than a thousand green pea and tan in color objects which I know, as also specified in the article are gall stones and “chaff” in 1 flushing without the parasite flush. I was diagnosed as having a gall bladder stone (2.6 cm), thus, I decided to undertake the said potion to free me of being operated surgically. Thanks a lot and I am determined to disseminate this to my friends and family members who also experienced symptoms of having these stones (gall & liver stones). More so, I also planned to do again with the parasite flush.

I did the cleanse before seeing the general surgeon I was referred to after an ultra sound showed I have gallstones. I has some success with the cleanse but when I told the doctor about it, he said it was “impossible” that it had worked. Has anyone ever had an ultrasound repeated after doing the cleanse to show that the stones are indeed gone?

Hi Jennifer, I am going back to The Spa Samui at the end of the month and plan to do the liver and gallbladder cleanse after I have done my fast and colon cleanse. Do you recommend to do the cleanse while I am fasting or is it better to eat on the day? Also during the pre cleanse can you have oil as I usually have the liver detox drinks at The Spa. Is it better to have apple cider vinegar or apple juice each day leading up to the liver cleanse and how many glasses each day?
    Thanks 🙂
PS: When are you coming back to Thailand?

      Hi Serena,

Happy to hear that you’ll soon be again at the Spa! I do not advise eating any oils or fats in the diet in the days before this cleanse, and I do not recommend to do this cleanse while fasting (it’s too harsh in the body, cleansing should be done gently and at a good – not high speed – pace). Focus on one type of detox at a time. If you want to lose weight during your fast, then don’t take any liver flush drinks (fat in oil is a high caloric density food).

Of course, after your detox, you will maintain healthy habits, so you certainly have the option to do the liver flush a few days (or weeks) after your fast. You will get better results by being more gentle on the body. You can have apple cider vinegar or fresh apple juice in the days before this cleanse.

To begin with, skin is not an organ and liver is not the largest “organ” in your body (lungs are) as stated in your opening paragraph.

Done two flushes six months ago and getting ready for the third including colonics due to symptoms coming back. Lost a lot of weight; from 180 lbs down to 134 now.

A few flushes are great initially for first timers but rather recommend proper diet, exercise and healthy lifestyle at all times.

Wow, what a strange comment! Actually the skin IS an organ, and the liver IS the largest internal organ of the human body, and weighs around 1.5 kg in the average adult.

Thank you for sharing the rest of your health journey….it’s looks like you have done the physical work – well done! Now, it may be time to go within…practicing forgiveness and self-love, learning to accept yourself and be less critical…this is such an important part of the healing process and not to be under-estimated!

What is your opinion on the ‘de-bunkers’ who say that the green pea shaped stones are not actually stones but olive oil and lemon particles?

I tried the cleanse and saw these green particles myself. But wondering if they are actually stones…

Yes, I’ve heard that comment many times over the years. If it was simply oil turning into stones, then in theory, you would have roughly the same amount coming out every time, yes? Personally, I’ve done this cleanse more than 15 times. In my case, I had over 600 stones come out the first time I did this cleanse!! Now after years of cleansing and high raw foods, I have about 10-15 each time. And I use even larger amounts of oil and lemon…so clearly what goes in is not just coming out….

If you’ve ever known someone who got their gallbladder removed, they often get a gallstone to “take home’ from the doctor. It’s in a vial and looks exactly the same as what this cleanse releases. I always laugh (inside) at how proud they are at getting 1 stone removed (plus an organ) from the surgery!
