Vitamix 5200 Blender Giveaway (Closed – See winner below): The Details
Someone’s getting a new $449.00 Value 2HP Vitamix 5200 blender for Christmas, ready to make Green Smoothies for many years to come! Here’s what we’ve got in this FREE giveaway for you:
In case you don’t know what a Vitamix is, it’s a blender. That means it blends the fiber and the liquid of whatever you put inside. It is not a juicer (a juicer separates the fiber from the liquid, leaving only the liquid for you to drink). A blender is very practical for busy people because it takes a just a few minutes to prepare your creation, is very easy to clean, and with a blender, you get all the nutrients from your food plus you get the fiber too. Most people are simply not eating enough fiber in their daily diet; the result can lead to poor digestion, acid reflux, arthritis, bad skin, weak liver, sluggishness, foul breath and even restless sleep.
Having a high power professional Vitamix 5200 blender is definitely some good motivation to start making change. Combine that with the delicious recipes in my Green Smoothies for Dummies book and you are going to start the new year right!

I will consume more greeb foods in the new year!! More green leafy vegetables, more green superfoods and definitely more green smoothies!! I am envisioning a very green and healthy 2015!!!
I will find ways to be active outside more often!
Cut back on chocolate!
Will eat more greens, less bread, pasta and cheese. One fruit or fasting day a week.
Stick with the great nutritional changes I’m making.
More water and exercise.
Drink more water and reduce sugar intake
My goal for the new year is to completely avoid processed foods and eat nothing but beautiful, whole foods!
I will start eating more real food and making more of my own meals rather than pre packaged!
I would like to drink more water.
I will juice a minimum of three times a week!
One healthy change I look forward to in the new year is to start juicing again! Especially if I win the vitamix blender 😉
I just moved back to America after 5 years in Greece and I’m so excited to visit the raw restaurants and juice bars that have popped up everywhere
get into a good exercise routine
A healthy change I would like to make is to reduce my sugar intake.
I’ve already started taking my vitamins again. They really help me. I would like to drink more smoothies for breakfast.
Although I am already a fairly healthy vegan and exercise regularly, I would like to become even healthier by adapting to more of a raw food diet and becoming more diligent about drinking green juices and green smoothies on a daily basis.
I am going to incorporate green smoothies into my families diet daily.
I’m going to start tracking what I eat using MyFitnessPal!
It’s the oldest wellness story in the world: eat better, move more. Have been walking at least 20 minutes a day since Labor Day (whoohoo for me!)
Going to exercise more and eliminate all the processed, high fat foods that are causing liver issues.
Healthy veggie and fruit smoothies 2 times a day!!!
Wow, some great ideas here! I definitely need to stop the negative thoughts that constantly go through my mind. I was a stay at home mom until my divorce 3 years ago, and there are still so many unknowns and “what ifs” – they consume me sometimes. But I need to let go, and let whatever will be, just be. Thanks for the opportunity to win!!
I plan on replacing most unhealthy beverages I have with waster. I’d also like to increase my intake of fruits and vegetables.
I will be doing yoga every day!
I would love to see more topics discussing fasting which cleanses our body and soul
I plan to start working out again at the gym and lose 30 pounds. I CAN DO IT!
MORE AVOCADOS! I LOVE them, but I’m a starving college student and they are SO DAMN EXPENSIVE. I finally found a grocery store that sells them for a fair-ish price, so now I can creamy green it up!
Less sugar! I have such a problem.
Drink green smoothies and continue focusing on my PT rehab. Getting back to normal life!
I will be drinking much more water!
Green smoothie every day and exercise !
I am going to completely eliminate processed food from my diet
In the new Year I wil sit much lesser do yoga more than ever before , and LIVE the green smooties book of Jennifer Thompson
WOW, good stud Astrid…love it!
My one thing I intend to do this New Year is to detox my entire life- a bit of a life audit. Beginning with being nicer to myself and doing a bit more self- care so that I can take better care of the world around me that I impact. Without detoxing negative toxins that come in the form of bad habits, negative self talk, bad food choices, bad word choices, negative relationships – green smoothies will simply fall short of cleansing my soul. So with the combo of green smoothies (preferably in an amazing blender such as the Vitamix!) and a life detox – I think 2015 is my year to thrive!! As I wish that upon all of you and your readers and friends as will=}
Eat more raw food
I have been going to yoga or barre once a week, I will up this to 2x a week.
I plan on lifting heavier weight when I workout.
i am going to focus on incorporating more variety of fruits and veggies and focus on having more raw foods 🙂
I’ll be beginning some Crossfit type workouts in my basement, I’m building my gym down there right now, should be finished by the end of February! 🙂
We have completely eliminated fast food from our diet and have added much more raw fruits and veggies to our diet and will continue to do so. We’ve found a little market with the largest selection of produce I have seen with great prices. I am hoping to incorporate more and more healthy produce into smoothies on a daily basis.
Going to start running everyday!! <3
I plan on exercising regularly
Eating more fruits and veggies
I need to start exercising & eating better 🙂
I will enjoy more time in nature.
* What is ONE healthy change that you will make for the New Year?*
I promise to make and eat one green smoothie EVERY day!!! BLISS!
I love and appreciate your work and your gifts in this world, Jennifer. From one green smoothie loving Iridologist goddess to another, GO GIRL!
LOVE
I need to cut sugar out of my diet again
One healthy thing that I will change is my state of mind! Disease begins in the mind and if i’m thinking negative, I will attract negative things in my life
I am going to start exercising on a regular basis.
I’m going to ride my bike more. There is no need to drive the car to just buy last minute almond milk or cat food or whathaveyou; this for so many reasons (environmental ones too)
